Showing 1 - 1 of 1 review | Wrongful Termination

Posted by anonymous | May 20, 2009 | Wrongful Termination

Persistent, Professional & Personable Attorney!

Ms. Post was very knowledgable of the law, prompt and efficient in her resolution of my unlawful harassment/ termination case. My family was surprised & impressed at how quickly we were able to settle. She responded to my e-mail request for an attorney within minutes & set up a prompt appointment to ...meet her. She was dilligent and persistent in her communication with the Defendants. Ms. Post was also very supportive; one of her initial statements was "I always believe/ support my clients" (August 2008). She also did not appear to be a cold, uptight professional, but presented herself as casual, relaxed and able to relate. She is big on communication with her clients and keeping them informed on the status of their case. Even during Deposition, she was supportive, complimenting me on my responses. Additionally, Ms. Post proved herself sensitive to clients with disabilities, providing me with the accomodation (sign language interpreter) needed at this stressful part of my lawsuit. If you are looking for an employment discrimination who will assist/ support you through the ups and downs of (most) litigation procedures-- look no further! Ms. Post is the greatest in her field!

"May Mon Post is a tireless advocate for the little guy. She is a sensitve and caring immigration lawyer who understands the anxiety and fear that the immigrant community can feel when trying to stay in this country or get a job. She is also a tough advocate in the courtroom for those wrongfully discharged from their job and for those whose civil rights have been violated. I have seen her speak at continuing legal education employment law seminars and she is extremely knowledgeable about employment law. May Mon is also a very honest and ethical attorney whose word is her bond."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
