Born in the US, family is from China.  Now I realize mom was right, I should have studied more Chinese when I was young.  So, better late than never lol.

I spent 2008 in Beijing, teaching and studying at Tsinghua University School of Law, and it was best time of my life.

I am hoping to leverage the interest that Chinese investors have in the EB-5 investor immigrant visa category.

H1B RFE
I applied H1B this year and my company lawyer filed the application. It is selected in the lottery, but I received an RFE in July. The RFE reason is special occupation and beneficial qualification. I worked with my company's lawyer for the first two months, but is not satisfied with their work. My friend recommends Calvin to me and he is great. He quickly started to work on my case and outlined a few key points for the RFE response. We then started to prepare the material and got most material prepared within 10 days. Calvin is very patient and answers all my questions immediately. Although I am located in Seattle area, I am always able to communicate with him by email or phone calls. The RFE is finally approved last week. I would strongly recommend Calvin to anyone who is applying for H1B or responding to H1B RFE. I may also consult or hire him for future immigration questions/cases.

H1B Application
I applied for H1b in 2017 and I didn't use Calvin in the beginning. However I got a RFE in August and my previous lawyer was not responsible and not caring for my case. Googling all the reviews online I chose Calvin, who is very experienced and professional, and it turned out to be the perfectly right choice. He cared about my case and brought out a lot of helpful suggestions. Everybody experienced this know how frustrating, his timely replies, confidence are really comforting. Anyway, I will continue have Calvin handle my other immigration issues and will highly recommend to my friends.

Careful Thoughtful Attorney with Great Price
I hired Calvin to get my wife a green card. He was very responsive to my questions and throughtful in our conversations. He sped along the process to some extent as well and going through the process turned out to be a breeze. I am a lawyer and would recommend a consultation with Calvin.

Such a great lawyer is hard to find
Calvin Sun was a great professional, who responded promptly all our questions and doubts. Less than 48 hours to our interview, my husband lost some documents. We were losing our minds, BUT Mr. Sun went out of his way to help us through this unusual situation. The amount of professionalism and resourcefulness Mr. Sun showed on those final hours are very admirable. It's hard to find such a dedicated lawyer. Thank you, Mr. Sun.

From F-1 to H1 and about RFE
Calvin is super professional and detailed-oriented. He helped me with my H-1B last year and when I got a RFE from USCIS, Calvin was very cautious and tried hard to get it approved finally. He cares about my case as much as me and my employer care,and he is very professional. To these who could not find a lawyer in the same state as you work in, I recommend Calvin since I have not yet seen Calvin, but we communicated perfectly through email and mail!! Very helpful and knowledgeable
Calvin is very knowledgeable about H1B process and all the other matters related to immigration. He is very responsive and always willing to help. Super Lawyer
Calvin did excellent work on my immigration case. I’m 200 percent satisfied with his service. He is in PA and I work at Houston. At beginning I was a little hesitate as we are so far away. After he start working on my case, I feel he just like my private lawyer even he has a lot of customers. His is super professional. His immigration knowledge is unbeatable. He has super customer service. Every time I email / text him he can reply immediately. Every time he missed my call, he call me back quickly. More importantly, Calvin know how to talk with people. He communicates with my HR very well, all the documents from company can be obtained quickly. All in all I strongly recommend Calvin, no matter which city you are.

Helpful and Professional

Lawyer who makes impossible possible
I had the pleasure of learning about Calvin from many of my friends. Actually, I chose him because he is the highest recommended lawyer from the people I know. This is my first H1B working visa application. I received a DENIAL in the beginning and got very depressed. It was Calvin who figured out a way for a second review. With his help, I got the amended approval in the end. Calvin is trustworthy and pleasant to work with. During my REF, without asking for additional fees, he diligently found a lot of useful evidence to support the application. Not to mention he found an expert hiring a person with similar background of mine and got a support letter from him. In my eyes, Calvin makes impossible possible! knowledgeable and experienced Immigration Lawyer

Knowledgeable and Very Detailed
Calvin helped us with a fiancee visa petition. He was obviously knowledgeable in this as he guided us through the whole process. He reminded us on every single detail. professional, trustworthy, friendly
Mr. Sun handled my H1b petition in 2013. My case was selected in the lottery, but due to some particular conditions of my job, we received a RFE. Mr. Sun spared no effort to collect evidence and prepared a strong argument for my case that USCIS cannot deny. My case got approved within three weeks after we sent the response. Also, Mr. Sun was always responsive. He replied most of my inquiries in the same day I sent him the question(s). Mr. Sun provided an outstanding legal service and he has my 100% trust on my immigrant issues in the future
