Tsui H. Yee

Tsui Yee, is an outstanding immigration lawyer. I use to see Tsui in a samba class but we never talked. I got Tsui contact info from NYSBA lawyer referral system. Our lawyer client relationship lasted over five years, in those years. We applied for Naturalization in 2010, and it was denied, then in 2...011 my Green card was lost and we had to applied for a replacement. In 2013, I was put on deportation. Tsui yee was able to meet with arresting ICE officers and follow up on my case. She filed paperwork and fought for my case. We reapplied for Naturalization and I received my American Citizenship in 2014. Tsui is an exceptional human being, she is a caring lawyer, unfortunately clients have taken advantage of her kindness. She hasn't stopped caring, she is excellent but as a precaution she requires payments on time which is understandable. I can honestly can say without putting my faith in Lord Jesus, and Tsui Yee handling my immigration case. I wound't be an American Citizen at least not without spending a small fortune. Tsui Yee will be honest with you in relation to your immigration case, and options available. She will not give you false promises. I took a friend of mines, a Mexican immigrant and Tsui was honest in telling him that she cound't find waiver for his expired visa, and she couldn't help until he was put on deportation processing. You will not regret hiring Tsui, In honestly she deserves more than five stars. Thank you Tsui for everything you did for me, I will never forget.

I had a very complicated marriage green card case, because my husband is in the US military and is deployed abroad in Germany. Our former attorney failed to prepare us for the adjustment interview and as a result, we were not approved. After a series of negative experiences with other lawyers, I fee...l very privileged to meet Attorney Tsui Yee and her assistant Yasmin. Quite simply, Tsui took our case out of ‘the swamp’. Our case fell into a black hole – while my husband had to return to Germany to serve in the military, my green card case was stuck and pending with USCIS for no reason. Being separated from each other was more difficult than words can express, and I felt hopeless about my green card application. The moment I talked with Tsui I felt assured. Tsui was no-nonsense, no self-promotion, straightforward, and asked all the critical questions. She told me that she would help me get a resolution to my case. Tsui understood the problems in my case and knew what the next steps needed be taken to get USCIS to act on my case. She listened to me, took detailed notes, and advised my husband and me exactly what we needed to do. Tsui is someone who cares about her clients. She provides quick updates and e-mail responses. Tsui went to USCIS in person and met with officers to explain my situation. She contacted the Section Chief at the USCIS Office and rescheduled several times with USCIS when my husband couldn’t get back for the scheduled interviews. Tsui guided us step by step and Yasmin was always there to answer any of our concerns. Tsui and Yasmin showed a level of care and effort that I have not experienced with other lawyers. When USCIS told us that they were scheduling my husband and I for a “Stokes” interview to prove that our marriage was real, Tsui prepared us extensively for this important interview. Because of her thorough preparation, our Stokes interview ended up being a much more pleasant experience than anticipated (I have heard horror stories of Stokes interviews gone awry). Three weeks after the Stokes interview, I got my green card approval notice in the mail! Thanks to Tsui, I no longer have to worry about my future and my husband and I can be together again. My husband and I are truly grateful that Tsui Yee resolved my immigration case.

Tsui handled a response to RFE for my H-1B visa and was successful. She is very knowledgeable immigration law and keeps abreast of recent changes and development. Tsui is responsive and client-focused. She explained the process to me patiently and answered all my questions in great detail. She delive...red result within the time frame that I requested. It was a stressful process, but with her expertise and calm composure, it really helped ease my worries and stress at the time.

Attorney Tsui Yee does have the knowledge, legal expertise, and charisma of a great lawyer, but beside that, I would recognize her for devotion, care and compassion that you only see in a great friend. Tsui just helped me with an O-1 visa. My endeavor of switching status from F-1 to O-1 was off t...o a rocky start since right after our first consultation meeting, EO 13769 ― the travel ban ― was issued and my country of citizenship was on the list. During a period that no one had a clear idea as what the implications were and how people like me would be affected by the order, Tsui reassuringly told me “we are going to fight as hard as we can.” Over the course of the next couple of months she made me feel empowered and encouraged, guided me and helped me reinforce my case in a way that my visa was granted shortly after submission. She started with emphatic understanding of me, as a person, not merely as a case (my life circumstances, achievements, my goals, etc.) then she tailored a personal narrative for my O-1 application and helped me bring the evidences and paperworks together. If anyone involved in the case on my end, (like my agent, my clients or those who wrote recommendation letters on my behalf) had any questions, she would personally get in touch with them to clarify the issue, providing detailed legal references, along with layman’s language. She was succinct, persuasive, and made the effort for them to understand fully the scope of their involvement and do their part wholeheartedly. She was always ready for strategic tweaks. Once that I had to replace an entity in my application, she generously redid some works she had already done. All and all, I never felt anything short of full understanding, support and adequacy in representation. In our current political atmosphere that even legal immigrants like me are likely to face a share of distress and disarray, in attorneys like Tsui Yee we shall trust.
