Most genuine and reliable lawyer!!!

Before I met Cheryl, I had seen many immigration lawyers who all seems to care more about getting paid than helping me with my situation. Cheryl was different from the moment I met her, I felt safe and in good hands especially when she told me she is not here to take advantage of my situation. In our... initial meeting, she did not start talking about the cost of helping me but rather accessing the best way she can help me out with my complicated immigration case and I loved that she had honest advise but most importantly she was not pushy. Best choice I ever made is to have Cheryl as my attorney with her expert guidance and help, my long immigration process was a success. I remember how difficult my life was without an identity but Cheryl and her knowledgeable office staffs were able to get me DACA which gave me some hope to work and drive but it did not end there, they also help me get my green card recently and now they gave me not only hope but freedom. As they say in my Asian culture now I have "wings to fly"! I can't thank Cheryl and her caring staff enough for all that they have done for me!!! Cheryl and her legal assistants are people that truly cares about helping illegal immigrants. I would 100% refer her to anyone who needs her legal expert advise on immigration help!

You want Cheryl in your corner.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Cheryl and her team. My husband lived in NYC undocumented for 5 years. We finally decided to do the process of adjusting his status which included filing a stateside waiver so that he could stay with us until his appointment with the consulate. Michelle d...rafted the most detailed hardship waiver, which by far exceeded my expectations and was worth every penny. In the middle of the process, my husband got arrested and taken by the police for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Cheryl called me herself at 8pm and assured me everything would be fine. She stood by us as this arrest delayed our process by 6 months. Finally, when my husband's record was clear, we did the final process of appearing for the interview in my husband's home country. Cheryl prepared us for what they would ask and how to answer. We went prepared, and had we not brought pictures (Cheryl's recommendation) we may not have won the immigration officer over. I cried when he said, "You guys are too cute, you need to go home together." Just when I thought we were in the clear, my husband's visa to come back home was delayed for unknown reasons. I was home with 2 kids by myself in a position that I never imagined. We had been approved and suddenly our case went into "administrative processing" which some people are in for at least 6 months, some years. Cheryl didn't abandon us. Her office called the consulate twice a day until the issue was resolved. I can't say enough about Cheryl and her staff. They are incredible. When you are in a scary situation like immigration and possibly facing removal of your loved one, she is the one you want on your side. I am so glad we used her office to help. Now my husband is a legal permanent resident and our family can progress as we have always dreamed. We could not have done it without Cheryl and her team.

Excellent lawyer who is reliable, caring and competent.

When I met Cheryl for the first time, I was very depressed because my previous lawyer messed things up quite badly for my family and got us rejected. The most depressing thing was that my sister turned 21 after being rejected so we all thought that she couldn't get green card with the family (other l...awyers have told us this as well). But Cheryl helped all of my family to get green card and saved us a lot of trouble. In my opinion, Cheryl has two qualities that makes her an outstanding lawyer. First, Cheryl is reliable and competent. When my family explained our situation to Cheryl, she did not merely rely on her memory; she looked back into her books and called her peers to ask for suggestions and to confirm her ideas. My previous lawyer relied on his memory and made a mistake, which ultimately got us into the trouble. But Cheryl's approach reduces margin of error and makes her a very reliable lawyer. She is also very knowledgeable in her field; she was able to find a way to include my sister, who was over 21 at the time, in our case of getting green cards. Her competence clearly stands out from others when you look at all the cases she was able to successfully help. Secondly, Cheryl's compassion and care for her clients make her an extraordinary lawyer. When we were consulting her for the first time, my mom cried in front of her in distress. Cheryl comforted her and very clearly explained the approach she would use for my family. When I anxiously emailed her a question that my family had at 11:30 pm, she responded promptly at 5 am in the morning next day. She sees us more than just as clients; she sees us as people who have been victimized in many aspects of life because of our status, and she does what she can to help us stand on fair grounds by having the legal status in the U.S. I am very thankful that my family ended up with Cheryl and not just any other lawyer. She is an outstanding lawyer who makes this review not an exaggeration but an accurate description.

Extraordinary Office/Exceptional Outcomes

Finding the Office of Cheryl David came on a referral for an associate. I needed legal expertise for a situation that required an honest and truthful response with regard to a situation with an employee who had been detained. Cheryl and Lindsey met with myself and a colleague to discuss the detenti...on dilemma. From the onset, these 2 lawyers made us feel at ease, comfortable and allowed for honest and open dialog, with no false hope or pretense. Cheryl and Lindsey shared their thoughts about our situation, added their considerable experience and came up with a plan that left us with hope and optimism. Be mindful, that our situation, based on all legal documentation (the law), would not allow for the release of our colleague for at least 6 months. Cheryl and Lindsey had an answer for that process as well. Upon planning to review the detention statue, challenge the reason for detaining our colleague, and exploring an immediate termination, Cheryl and Lindsey and the Office of Cheryl David (Yanyll and Michelle) hammered out a plan and filed the motions in an extremely effective manner, that was precise with the time element in mind. At the Master Court date, Lindsey was OUTSTANDING! She presented the case, was prepared with the motions and while the result we wanted were not at hand that day, Lindsey secured a unseen victory, not often found at a Master Court date EVER in immigration court. This review speaks to the excellent work of the entire office, as I felt comfortable with these folks as I would my family in a crisis. Cheryl and her staff (Lindsey, Michelle, Yanyll) secured the freedom our colleague within 31 days of the day of detention date!!! 31 DAYS! SERIOUSLY; from an estimated 6 months from every other attorney I consulted, to release in 31 DAYS. (lawyers are a dime a dozen, but these ladies make you feel like family) If you want just any immigration attorney, the Law Office of Cheryl David is not the office you need. Appreciation letter to Lawyer

Dear Cheryl and Michelle David Two weeks ago I received letters from USCIS that my adjustment of status have been approved and another letter informing me about my green card is on the way. Finally on Oct. 29, 2014 I received my green card and I could not described my emotions. I'm on cloud 9. Ex...citement, hope for a better future and peace of mind is what my family can finally have. Finally, we can live the American Dream without fear. Thank God for helping obtained my green card.
