Top reputation

Mark has an excellent reputation among his colleagues for zealous and effective representative. In addition to representing his private clients, he is often invited to speak at, and organize, conferences and symposia on some of the most complex areas of immigration law. I have no hesitation in recom...mending him.

Excellent lawyer. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend Mark. As a fellow immigration attorney, I often call on him for advice and guidance. He is a true expert in his field. Immigration law is a very complex field and requires a great deal of expertise. Mark has got it!

The best attorney you can find!!!

Mark Shmueli is the best attorney you will ever find! HONEST, trustworthy, responsive, knowledgeable, SMART, always willing to help, will focus on all details of your case, will work on your case as if you were his only client, realistic - he won't lie to you that he can help you just to get your mon...ey, as many other attorneys do, with reasonable fees for the great services he will give you. I changed about 10 attorneys until I found Mr. Shmueli. He resolved my case by writing to the 6th Circuit federal court, and explaining why I should not be deported. As a result my cases was referred to the immigration judge. Thanks to Mr. Shmueli skillful involvement in the hearing, the immigration judge said in the end that he did not see any case there. The most amazing thing was that the government prosecutor then agreed with the judge, saying that he did not see the case either, so my case was dismissed by the immigration judge as it never existed, the charges were dropped, and I was granted my Green Card. In short, thanks to Mr. Shmueli's work my "case" simply evaporated and ceased to exist. Mr. Shmueli's approach is not the confrontation with the government, but - as it should be - collaboration with the government and friendly and expertly persuasion, as well as powerful argument, why your case should be dismissed. There were no hidden fees with Mr. Shmueli, I knew upfront how much money his services would cost me. So, if you thought that honest, knowledgeable, and trustworthy attorneys do not exist anymore, schedule an appointment with Mark Shmueli and you will regain your faith! Thus, I highly recommend Mark Shmueli as the best attorney I ever dealt with!

Thank you for these kind words. I am just very happy to this day that we were able to sift through your enormous file and complicated history to get to the real issues and negotiate with the Department of Justice appellate attoenys on your behalf. It was an absolute pleasure to work on your case because of the challenging issues and also because of the injustices that you had to endure to that point.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
