Emre M. Polat

I normally don’t write reviews but I want to write this one because I feel like Emre has changed my life and eased my anxiety after I hired him as my lawyer. He has made me feel so at ease about the situation and aggressively negotiated a settlement for me after I was wrongfully terminated by my empl...oyer after 7 years of dedicated service!!! I don’t think I had some case and other attorneys were misleading me about the laws and asking for money up front.  I’m so glad to have met this intelligent and charming attorney! I also read reviews before hiring Emre and truly agree with everyone else that his knowledge and experience with the employment laws are incredible! You will realize this from the beginning as even the lawyers of my ex-employer knew who he was.  I’ve consulted with other attorneys as well and they don’t even compare. It’s hard to deal with such situations when your job has been taken from you in one day after years of service but Emre and his team were true advocates on behalf of me, which is exactly what I needed. I can’t thank you enough!

I contacted Emre regarding a complicated legal situation involving my fiance and his former employer. We needed help assessing risk and figuring out next steps. Our consultation with Emre was extremely helpful. He grasped the crux of the issue right away (which was difficult to do given the compl...exity of the situation). Right from the start, he had a pro-active attitude and a friendly and supportive demeanor that put us at ease. His insightful and pointed questions demonstrated his proficiency and legal expertise throughout the conversation, and the perspectives and advice he shared with us were equally on-point and extremely valuable. After our initial consultation we decided to wait on taking legal action, so we did not retain Emre at that time, but if we ever have further need of legal services we would retain Emre in a heartbeat. He struck us as someone who would firmly stand up for the rights of his clients against injustice. I referred a couple of friends to him, and would recommend him highly to anyone who needs a fair and talented lawyer in their corner.

I absolutely recommend Emre. Not only is he exceptionally intelligent and knowledgeable as an attorney, but he is truly an honest genuine person who I felt very comfortable talking to. He is very punctual, responsive, and provides clear answers for you when other attorneys will not give you a straig...ht answer. When my case became a heated match with my ex-employer, Emre was extremely sharp and on point. What impressed me the most is his friendly, down to earth personality and his genuine interest in providing you help when you have been wrongfully terminated. I have referred numerous family and co-workers to him and strongly recommend Emre. He was always available over text which was very convenient for me since I barely have available time at work unlike other older attorneys who never respond back to you over text. As for the previous post, it seems like the person is confused and should have done some research on what contingency actually means or simply ask questions. I'm sure a quick google search would have showed that there are not hourly fees for contingency cases. I’m not an attorney and he understood that when he answered all my questions. My retainer with him was the same and he took the risk of taking on my case because he was confident in me and wanted to right the wrong against my employer when other attorneys didn’t believe me or only wanted money upfront. It was clear there are no hourly fees on contingency agreements (which is the definition of contingency) when firms take your case. Emre went above and beyond advancing the court fees which I'm only responsible for if the case settles or a jury makes a decision in my favor. This helped speed up the process, instead of waiting around for me. Emre stated and the agreement says that if the case didn't go my way, he wouldn't charge me for those fees because he was taking the risk, which was very reassuring. At the end of the day, he obtained a very favorable result for me and it was more important that Emre understood the frustration I had with my prior employer and corrected the situation when I was wronged. Sometimes people get caught up in a bad job and are treated very unfairly and it’s important to have attorneys like him on your side !

I had a great experience with Mr. Polat as my attorney; he really dedicates his time to your case, makes you feel comfortable and discusses your options openly. I’ve also seen him in action in the courtroom on my case and I can say that he was very intelligent, articulate, and a bulldog against my em...ployer and their team of attorneys; my employer’s lawyers had tried to dismiss my case in court and Mr. Polat won it with a bang. The judge had agreed with Mr. Polat’s arguments entirely. I would strongly recommend him for anyone having issues with their employer. I had referred a friend to him and she was extremely pleased with his legal knowledge and personality too.
