I am an immigration attorney and founder of Law Offices of Nicklaus Misiti, PLLC, based in Poughkeepsie, New York. I represent individuals and families throughout the Hudson Valley and New York City in a wide range of immigration matters, with a particular focus on deportation defense and removal proceedings.
My practice includes citizenship (N-400), green cards, family-based immigration, waivers, asylum, and representation in immigration court. I regularly handle cases before USCIS as well as the Immigration Courts, and I have experience working with cases processed through both the Latham, New York and New York City field offices.

Successful I-485
I’ve had an asylum case which was withdrawn after filing family based i-485 petition. I applied in December of 2017 and had several interviews but, never heard back from the USCIS. Great Attorney 100% trustworthy
Now has an office in Poughkeepsie NY and his rates were 50% less than the other attorneys I spoke to. My case was complicated and confusing and he took the time and returned my calls in a reasonable time.

Dishonest at best
I had a different experience and it was horrible. After talking to him (and he gave me world of confidence) I Paid him $4000 retainer.
