Jeremias Batista, Esq. is the best legal counsel, always professional, and what I like most he's available 24 hours 7days/week! I contacted Jeremias after receiving calls from a Debt collector with threats of wage garnishment and lawsuits. I was distraught, he calmed me and said not to worry he ...will take care of the threats and calls. Jeremias also asked that I be proactive with my case - thoroughly reviewing all forms, get the necessary documents requested, sign, complete and send them back to him. He urged me to call if I had any questions or concerns anytime. Which I absolutely did around 10:30pm on a Saturday, got the answering service and was contacted by Jeremias within minutes. He's amazing! I'm a full-time Medical Assistant and a part-time evening Nursing student drowning in credit debts and student loans, struggling to pay bills, make groceries, meet my basic needs sometimes. I expressed to him, that I often feel like the working poor, living paycheck to paycheck. I know there are some items that cannot be removed with Bankruptcy; Jeremias explained that unfortunately student loans cannot be charged off. I have been struggling to pay all of my bills, I wish I would have found Jeremias sooner. Can I rate a ZERO?? Too good to be true? Yes, that is the case with Jeremias Batista. The short version of my situation is the lack off communication after you file with him. I received a discharge letter that stated I was responsible to pay some debts. Therefore, a chapter 7 was not approved by ju...dge. This is what I am assuming. I reached out to Mr. Bastista on several occasions at time of receiving this letter (June 2020) to no avail. It is now August and I am still in limbo wondering what debts I am responsible for. I also, want to point out that he stopped communicating when all payment arrangements where completed. Obviously, he is just another lawyer out to get you as any other lawyer...so disappointed!

I'm very appreciative that he was able to work with my crazy schedule with my first appointment/ consultation. Mr. Batista was easy to reach by email or phone. No question was ever silly. He was understanding and I was able to pay him in installments. The day prior to the meeting he send multiple ema...ils and messages to make sure that I knew exactly where I was going and what I needed to bring. A very professional lawyer and I would highly recommend him.
