Retain a more reputable attorney with more experience than this one. She failed to alert me of upcoming court dates. She called me a day and half before I had to appear. She knew we had a court appearance for a week since I was told that the judge called her personally. We missed the previous court a...ppearance (that's when judge called her) because she failed to alert me completely. She uses the excuse of mail problems and she doesn't get mail. She doesn't return calls despite calling her repeatedly esp when time is of the essence. This is a custody issue so there's no room for errors. Things ran so much smoother when Lauren ran the office.

I'm a single father who needed help establishing my rights with my daughter and Cecilia made it happen. The end result was better than I hoped for, she GAVE me a car seat, and 2 weeks ago I rehired her to help me make a few changes to my current agreement. Cecillia failed me on so many levels. Wish I had never hired her in the first place. She is very creative with billing, talks a good game but short on delivery. Way to long of a story with as many twists and t...urns as a daytime soap opera, and don't really need any more misery brought on my family by her.

I hired Cecila June of 2014 to represent me I a custody dispute. Cecila was very energetic and enthusiastic and convinced me to hire her. When it was time to appear in court I come to find out that my ex had sent a revised proposal that I was never advised of or knew existed before that day. Needl...ess to say I ended up worse off in court that day losing more time with my son. I expressed my frustration and disappointment to Cecilia while at same time asking for a balance on my retainer. A year has gone by and several requests later she still has not sent over any statement showing how much of my retainer was used or left. She is very hard to reach and when she does respond it's always an apology because she is too busy. But then immediately goes dark again.

I was a client of Ms. Cecilia Guzman. I attempted to contact her numerous occasions via phone and email for legal advice being that she was my attorney. She never called me back once. I finally had to get another attorney. Once I did, I still had to contact her for months to try and obtain the re...mainder of my retainer. When she finally sent me the invoice after calling her almost daily, another legal professional advised me that would have never spent the time on certain items that she said she did, she most likely did not provide the services herself but charged me her fee on certain items on the invoice. She also charged me a few items on invoice even after she received substitute of attorney letter. She did not provide good services, she never responded, and she did not return due money, and she made the process a lot longer than it should have been.
