I am a Certified Matrimonial Law Attorney with over 22 years experience, specializing in divorce and family law matters, including but not limited to divorce, child support, child custody, alimony, child abuse, domestic violence, and private adoptions. I am also certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a mediator. I belong to various legal associations in New Jersey, including NJ State Bar Assoc., Bergen County Bar Association, and Hudson County Bar Assoc. where I am a Trustee and an active member of its Family Law Committee. I was chair to the Hudson Vicinage Fee Arbitration and Ethics Committee. I was the former President of the Justice Virginia Long Family Inn of Court. Prior to opening my practice, I worked as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Severiano Lisboa III in Hudson County Superior Court and was an associate at Forman, Cardonsky, Andril & Ungvary in Elizabeth, NJ. I was rated "10 Best Family Attorneys" by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys and received the Hudson County "Family Lawyer of the Year" award in 2017. as well as the "Pro Bono Attorney of the Year" by Northeast NJ Legal Services.

RUN AWAY
Brunilda was referred to represent me in a divorce case. This attorney is incompetent. No advise to the client when needed. No communication with the client.. The only communication would be when she needed more money. I would not recommend this attorney at all. Horrible representation

Replied last March 15, 2021This information is incorrect. I communicate with all my clients on a regular basis through letters, phone contacts, and/or emails. Furthermore, this client has never complained to me, much less tell me that she was dissatisfied with my representation or services rendered. If anything, I have gone above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to this particular client by, for example, giving her my personal cell phone (which I almost never do) and advising her on a particular issue for an entire hour one Sunday afternoon as I was taking my daughter to college. It always seems to amaze me that when clients, like this one, complain, it's usually when the case is almost over and they get my bill. Again, this client's comments are entirely not true and I have proof in all seven files.
