Nicholas Lawrence Krochta

Nicholas L. Krochta, Esq. joined Garces, Grabler & LeBrocq in the Spring of 2015. Nick is a graduate of the University of Scranton and Loyola University of Law School.

During his long legal career, Nick has represented clients that have suffered serious injuries while working and in their personal lives. Although he has extensive experience handling Personal Injury cases involving the negligence of third parties, he has dedicated himself over the last 25 years to the practice of Workers Compensation. He has developed an expertise in this area by appearing in Workers Compensation courts throughout the State of New Jersey. In doing so, Nick has built a strong reputation with both the Workers Compensation Judges and adversaries. In fact, he has been asked to lecture before other Workers Compensation practitioners and Judges on various issues directly affecting the representation of the injured worker.

Employees in New Jersey face many difficulties in the course of their employment, which can be very unique to our State. Nick has represented workers exposed to deleterious industrial substances, sometimes resulting in the catastrophic disease and illness. He is very aware of the fact that work-related injuries cause quality of life issues for the injured employee and their families. For this reason, Nick has dedicated himself to preserving the rights afforded the injured worker by the laws of the State of New Jersey.

Nick is at his best when the insurance carrier for the employer takes a position that attempts to restrict or take away the rights given under New Jersey law. He has utilized his expansive skills as a negotiator and litigator to accomplish these goals.

To this end, Nick cares a great deal about his clients’ futures and how they affect their individual families.
