After extensively interviewing employment lawyers to help me with my severance negotiation, I felt most comfortable with David Rintoul. He was personable and honest. Very negative experience
I never write reviews, but I believe it is my obligation to do so in this case. I hired Mr. Rintoul to file an appeal concerning a medical claim denial by an insurance company for my father. At that time, we had almost 4 months to file the appeal. Mr. Rintoul asked for a deposit of 4500 USD, which...
Whenever a client has a concern with my representation or my fee, I urge the client to speak with me by phone or in person, at the client’s choice and without charge. Once the client shares any concerns, I can respond to the concerns and discuss different options. We can then reach a mutual resolution once both sides have fully discussed their positions. The client says in his review that I offered to me meet with him, but that he didn’t see any reason for it. As you can see from my other reviews, communication with clients is the cornerstone of my practice. I am confident that we had sat down together, he and I would have been able to reach a resolution that both of us would have been satisfied with, and would have addressed his concerns. I am sorry he declined to take advantage of this opportunity.

I collected STD benefits through my company's group disability plan, and those rolled over to LTD benefits as expected. On reviewing the ...
