Biography
I have been practicing law since January 1985, when I began with a small civil litigation and transactions firm in the Boston suburbs. For a number of years I worked throughout the Northeast for a major corporation on the defense side in the nationwide asbestos litigation. I have also worked for a client nationwide on health care subrogation claims. Since 1994, I have had my own civil practice law firm in the Boston area. I am admitted to practice in MA, NY, WV, the US Supreme Court, the US Court of Appeals for the 1st, 2nd, 4th and Federal Circuits and US District Courts for the District of Massachusetts, Northern District of New York, Western District of New York and Southern District of West Virginia. I have served in elected and appointed positions in my town's local government since 1990. I am a graduate of Boston University and Albany Law School.

Extremely helpful
I contacted attorney Callahan regarding a matter spanning two states. He took the time to carefully delve into the matter and gave me advice to use a lawyer in the other state. He even offered to help me find one. I had a very good experience with attorney Callahan and recommend him.

Excellent Counsel
Mr. Callahan always responds quickly to my questions. He explains things in a precise, straightforward manner that makes it easy for me to understand the basics of my question and what I need to do next. I would definitely feel comfortable hiring him for any of my future cases.

Dissapointing experience
Hired for a divorce proceding and then for a modification post divorce that should have been very easily resolved. I'm not entirely sure what happened but all communication stopped.
