Not Guilty DUI and Bail Jumping

Case Conclusion Date: 03.03.2008

Practice Area: DUI & DWI

Outcome: Not Guilty on DUI and Bail Jumping

Description: AW was charged with DUI at .17 and Bail Jumping for failing to appear for court due to family problems. At pre-trial, evidence was suppressed because AW was denied his right to an attorney after he was placed under arrest for No Valid Operator's License. The officer failed to follow proper procedure when arresting AW and so all evidence that the state received as a result of that arrest was suppressed. The State would not offer AW a negligent driving. Ultimately, we took the case to trial and the jury came back not guilty. AW was released.
