Borah was absolutely excellent. He was the second lawyer I tried in a very difficult case against workers comp. My case had been going on for years, and the first lawyer just wanted to get rid of me because the case was so convoluted and workers comp had involved many of the past companies I worked for. However Borah actually took the time to listen to me, and understood what I was going through. It came down to him to do a lot of the work, like facilitating depositions from ALL of the companies and people involved. He worked long hours and actually worked with me every step of the way to make sure that I knew and understood what was happening at every turn. The hard work that he did really paid off because we ended up winning and I received a settlement for my injury. And even after the case was closed and the settlement was done, he still took the time to answer my questions about the results and what I could expect. Even though this says that I hired him more than 3 years ago, this case has been going on for many years and just ended. I highly recommend Borah to anyone who needs a lawyer who is determined, listens, works hard, and gets the job done.

When I was injured I did not think i needed an attorney, but as time went on i realized I was more serioulsly injured than thought.I asked my Dr. if he knew of a good lawyer and he gave me Brett Borah's name.Well ,when i went to his office he was no longer there.The attorney at that site took our case and what a mistake.It took alot of mistakes and pain but we left that firm 4 years to late.Finally we found Brett and he had our case settled within 6 months of taking my case!Way to go Mr.Borah I highly recommend him for all injured workers He gets the job done!

I am a bay area healthcare provider who has worked with Mr. Borah several times. I am unaware of any attorney who cares as much for his client as he and his associate, Andrew Shaffer, care. They are workers' compensation specialists and are busy. Sometimes they may not return calls on the same day, but they do get returned. I have no trouble recommending Mr. Borah and Mr. Shaffer to patients in need of representation. At times they have consulted a potential client for free, only to tell them they don't need an attorney and offered recommendations on how a client might settle thier own claim. Look no further, you have found the best.

Mr. Borah handled my Worker's Comp. case, while I was still employed at HP. There's no way I could have remained employed, and able to fight for my rights, for the year and a half I was injured, in pain, and treated unfairly from 2003, until end of 2004; if it weren't for Mr. Borah. Not only was he knowledgeable about every facet of my case and how to handle it, he had just the right amount of human compassion, objectivity, and good, old-fashioned bull-dog fighter instinct. I always knew he truly fought for me. I trusted him 100%, and he is absolutely 100% trust-worthy, fair and honest.

After my case settled, he also handled my SS Disability case. By this time, I relocated from the SF Bay Area, to So. CA. This made no difference to my case, as he was great at communicating in a timely fashion, and returned all my phone calls promptly. He flew down to So.
