Tripti spent more than an hour with me going over every aspect of the H1B / I-140 situation. Mine is a complicated case yet Tripti was knowledgeable and extremely helpful.

    Definitely recommend her!

    Hired attorney

I spent several hours reading reviews of various lawyers and based on her reviews and ratings, I decided to work with Tripti. I had a REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE with her and here is some parts of it. I was engaging her for my wife's H4 and EAD.

In the initial conversations, I was trying to get some confirmation about the process of H4 EAD but she WOULD NOT answer a single question and kept insisting that I make a payment first. All I was asking was a confirmation on some basic aspects of H4 EAD but she never answered my questions even though I asked it multiple times. I was put off by this but still decided to purse and made the initial payment of $250. Even after that I had to ask my questions 2 more times before she provided answers in a short form and WOULD NOT TAKE THE TIME to detail the answers for me. CONCLUSION - Money minded and does not care about her clients. Money First, Service last attitude.

I set up time to meet her at her office to drop off documents. Since she worked only till 5 or 6pm in the evening, I took time off from work and had confirmed appointment between 1pm and 2pm on a workday. I arrived between the allocated times but her office was LOCKED and she was nowhere to be found. When I called her on her cell, she said she is out for lunch and asked me to just drop off the papers in the mail box. This is HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL behaviour. I wanted to clarify some aspects of the process (which she never clarified on the mail) but I could not meet her to do so.

I still decided to give her the benefit of doubt and continue to work with her which was a BIG MISTAKE. Over the next 2 weeks, I had few questions on the documents she wanted me to provide. She NEVER replied to emails on time, hardly ever answered my calls - Even on weekdays. When I had a set of detailed questions on certain documents, she wanted me to first pay the remaining fees but never attempted to address my concerns. This is possibly the WORST experience I have had with any professional (not just a lawyer). I finally got fed up and wrote to her that I did not want to work with her and sent her a detailed email explaining why. To my utter surprise, she replied saying that it was best we do not work together and never bothered to address the issues I brought to her notice. She even refused to refund the $ 250 saying she has prepared my documents. As a customer I had so many concerns which were not answered. I had no confidence on the documentation that she worked on and it was not of any use to me. CONCLUSION - Arrogant and self-minded UNprofessional.

Tripti, I do not care about your apologies now, So do not provide any. You owe me $250. It is not about the how many $ but the fact that you took my money and provided me bad service, gave me a lot of heartburn and in the end you did not even have the grace to end the relationship well. This is the exact opposite of being a professional. Enjoy my $250 that you DID NOT deserve.

Tripti Sharad Sharma’s response: “Dear Sandeep, I decided to respond to your review with more clarity as numerous prospective clients asked for my side of the story, and it is only fair I respond adequately so my current clients feel assured of my representation of their case and my response gives them the confidence to work with me. I owe this explanation to them. At this time, I am unable to establish your true identity. You started by emailing under the name of Sandeep Sinha and then moved to Sandeep Pyapali stating you were not getting my emails. We have full records of our emails, and it confirms the true story. Your appointment was not confirmed; you dropped in at lunch and did not find me in my office. My assistant was available to help out. Your accusations are not true. You sought full refund of earned fees and our refusal upset you, which is clear from the tone of your review. Dear reviewers, I would like to add here for all our prospective clients that my office works really hard to achieve the best results. However if an unreasonable or an unethical demand is made or a bad review given as a result of our beliefs, it will never threaten our integrity, nor make us compromise our services and loyalty to our clients. We will continue to work hard to strive for you and provide you the confidence your case deserves. I hope this response provides the assurance you are looking for. Please also read other reviews objectively provided by our clients who have been extremely happy with our services. You may also contact me so I can provide you with more personal referrals from current and past satisfied clients. Sincerely, Tripti Sharma”
  • My experience - Not answers the calls at appoitnment time and did not feel she is knowledgeable

Wont answers the call at appointment time. It happened to me the two times I spoke with her. Atleast the first time she acknowledged that she got a call, but could not answer it as she was on another call. In the first call, she said, she has to refer the PD porting scenario and postponed the call to the next day. Second day, at the appointment time, I called her and left a voice message and immediately emailed her but she says, she did not receive any call/voice message. Later we spoke for about 22 mins. Then, initially she said she accepts follow up calls, but in my case she says, she has been waiting for my call, so my consultation time is up.

    Asked her the question -

    1. Will the PD reused for new I140 if we change the employer, and the employer withdraws the I140?
Her Ans - We don't know as it depends on the officer who is looking into the case

    - Approached her to know what is the rule.

Tripti Sharad Sharma’s response: “I apologize if you were not able to get though our office phone. Sometimes I am talking to other clients or away from my desk. I suggest you read other esteemed attorney responses on Avvo on related topics. All agree that considering the unprecedented decision, the outcome regarding old priority dates cannot be predicted at this time. If the most recent law trend is not favorable to you, you will be honestly informed of the same. Attorneys cannot concoct laws to please clients. I wish you the best!”

I contacted Tripti in response to issues surrounding I-130 petition for my brother. I was within week of the deadline and it was the week before the long weekend. She granted me prompt appointment and guided me through the process. She was able to file the response to Homeland security before the deadline. She was very knowledgeable and was able to tell me what information I needed to gather for filing the response. The petition was approved. I will definitely consult her for any Immigration issues. I highly recommend her to anyone with Immigration issues.
