Outcome: Case Dismissed

Description: Together with Attorney Daniel A. Horowitz we represented a client charged with assault with great bodily injury. We did a preliminary hearing. Attorney Horowitz hammered the complainant until he realized that he was incriminating himself and actually asked for an attorney at one point. We drafted and filed a discovery motion. Once discovery was unearthed that showed that the victim had a long violent history, the prosecutor realized that we would win at trial - case dismissed.
