I am a Los Angeles native, having grown up here before leaving for college on the East Coast in Annapolis, Maryland. After graduating from college (the U.S. Naval Academy), I was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps. I then went through the six month program known as The Basic School (TBS) in Quantico, Virginia, which all new second lieutenants must complete. After graduation from TBS, it was off to flight school in Pensacola, Florida for about two years. After earning my wings, I spent about a year in Whidbey Island, Washington, learning to fly the EA-6B Prowler and learning about electronic warfare. Upon finishing the training in Washington, I went straight to the Gulf for Operation Desert Shield and then, Operation Desert Storm. After this deployment and combat, I spent another six years in the Marine Corps, deploying to Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Puerto Rico, Cuba and various places across the U.S. While in the Marines, I earned an MBA from Boston University.
Once I left the Marine Corps, as a Captain, I entered law school at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. Three years later, I graduated and took the Bar Exam, passing it on my first try despite having mono while I took the test and nearly falling asleep during the three day test.
Since passing the Bar in 1998, I have taken many cases to jury trial and bench trial, although most of my cases have resolved short of trial. I have been lucky enough to learn from some great lawyers and thereby develop my skills.
I learn something new every single day in practicing law. Often it is just a better way to argue a point. Other times, it is a case that says exactly what I need for a client with a similar problem. I thoroughly enjoy helping people resolve problems, whether it be a civil or criminal matter.
Outside of my practice, I have three very active kids and a family to support. I am also active as a Blue and Gold Officer for the Naval Academy, giving interviews for high school kids applying to the Academy and then submitting my evaluation to the admissions board. I am also active in my son's Boy Scout troop and my daughters' club soccer games.

I have known Mr. Greg T. Hill for over two decades. Mr. Hill is an extremely versatile and intelligent human being. He graduated from the United States Naval Academy for his undergraduate work, and Boston University where he received an MBA and Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. This is where I met Mr. Hill. We were classmates. Throughout the years, his diverse background with military science, business and law have proven him to be a formidible opponent in the courtroom and an asset to his clents. Mr. Hill is competitive, hard working and an extremely dedicated lawyer. Aside from his aggressiveness in practice, he is also very ethical and a fine human being. I have the highest regard for Mr. Hill and without any reservation endorse him.

What I see in Mr. Hill as a lawyer: Greg is dedicated to serve his client well beyond the typical obligations in a lawyer-client relationship. Unfortunately most clients do not understand or appreciate this trait. His academics knowledge and lawyering skills are of the highest quality. His results in court prove the point.
