Mary Catherine Corrigan

Mary Catherine was pleasant and on point from when I met & hired her for my son. She keep me posted by phone and or text on my son case for time credit he didn't receive. I would highly recommand using her.

Experience is only a quarter of a necessity when searching for an attorney. One must also have etiquette, diligence, and true empathy for their clients. Mary Catherine excels in all of these qualities. When I felt helpless and as if I had nowhere to turn, she took my side and fought incredibly hard for me. I am so thankful everyday for what Attorney Mary Kay Corrigan did for me. She fought for me and believed in me. She knows sometimes good people do just get stuck in bad situations. If it was not for her persistence, her intelligence and her amazing knowledge of the law I would not be at home with my family right now or be able to watch my little boy grow up for some time. She turned a situation that was hopeless in the hands of all other lawyers to a hopeful situation. She does NOT feed you a bunch of lies and tells you how it is which is another thing that divides her from most lawyers out there. I hired Mary to help resolve an incident for my daughter and she could not have been more professional, attentive, responsive and courteous in handling the situation. Her expertise in her field makes her outstanding and I would recommend her highly to anyone who is in need.

I went to Mary when I was in need of guidance. She went above and beyond my expectations. My friend and I pulled over to help an elderly woman with a large Handicap sticker on the bumper get unstuck from the shoulder of a country-ish road in which there was too much snow. We pulled our car over and as we were getting out, a gentlemen rear-ended us saying he didnt even see us as he was looking at the handicapped elderly lady on the side of the road. We had multiple cars pull over and say they saw the whole thing, gave us their contact info in case we needed witnesses. They all professed that they were amazed to see that regular people are still willing to help a total stranger on a cold and snowy day in January. My acquaintance had a history of bad decisions, so the Rangers went fishing in his vehicle. Even though we were the ones that had a parked car that was hit by another gentlemen, they still tried to get us in trouble. She explained the situation we were in and informed me what she expected to happen. I never would have guessed that she was fresh out of school years ago when my situation occurred. She put me in touch with a colleague of hers just in case she wasn't available on a certain day so I would have someone to turn to. My case was resolved, and the charges were knocked down. Her professionalism was outstanding. The one thing I was most impressed with was her consistent follow-up. If I needed her, she responded right away. After speaking with Mary Catherine, I no longer felt like I was alone in dealing with this. She went to bat for me and hit a home run. When it doubt, Corrigan-Law it Out!

I reached out to Mary, and after a few minutes into the conversation, I knew she was the right person to represent me. Most lawyers cut you off and don't give you time to talk...not her. She heard me out, and listened closely to every single detail. Just a few days later, it was time for court. I couldn't get my insurance license from the state of Ohio with a pending case. She made sure this was handled in only one hearing. It would have been a lot more money if I had to continue the case. I was afraid that it would be continued and I would have to fork out more money. She made it happen, everything that I asked was executed in a timely, professional manner. Even after the case was closed, the insurance company didn't like the fact I was on probation. I contacted her, and she filed a motion to dismiss the probation days later. She has been a great attorney to work with, and I'd recommend her to anyone.

Ms. O'Neill helped me navigate an interesting legal situation I encountered. Being out of state, Ms. O'Neill explained the property laws in Ohio and how they pertained to my situation. She was in constant communication, completed research on the topic, and helped us come to a satisfactory resolution.

Ms. O'Neill helped me with a traffic issue I had. I had never leased a car before, and did not realize that my license plates did not expire on my birthday. When I received a hefty ticket for expired plates, she helped me navigate the legal process. Ironically, I had jury duty on my first court date, and she ensured that I had no negative consequences as a result of missing court. On my second court date, she was able to explain the situation to the prosecutor and magistrate, and the matter was dismissed at no cost to me. Working with Ms. O'Neill was a great experience and I would recommend her to anyone.

Mary Catherine helped my mother and I through a difficult process of sorting out an estate. She was able to work through it with the attorney assigned to the estate and get things back on track. It was a trying time for my mother and I and really tested our emotions as we wanted to do the right thing on behalf of our friend's (the deceased) wishes but the Executor assigned was not acting in the wishes of the deceased. From my initial consultation with Mary Catherine, I was confident that she would work in my best interest and therefore I hired her. It was important to me that I had a Lawyer that I could freely discuss details and I felt my trust was maintained. She was very confident in defending me and presented well in trial. This carried through to an appeal after the initial trial.
