Description: Client brought suit for Trade Libel; (2) Libel; (3) Slander; (4) Slander Per Se; and (5) Unfair Business Practices in Violation of Section 17200 of the California Business and Professions Code. Defendant filed a courterclaim for, among other things, (1) False Advertising under the Lanham Act; (2) Trade Libel; (3) Violation of Section 17200 of the California Business and Professions Code; (4) Violation of Section 17500 of the California Business and Professions Code; (5) Intentional Interference with Prospective Economic Advantage; and (6) Intentional Interference with Contract. We obtained summary judgment for our client's benefit.
