Practice Area: Personal Injury
Description: I represented a child who was injured while on a boyscout trip. He and his troop were staying at a local National Guard Armory and he was injured on a piece of dangerous military equipment which had not been properly secured and there were no warnings. He sustained multiple pelvic fractures and was in a wheelchair for several months. Because the lawsuit was against the State of Tennessee, there were limits placed on the amount of recovery I could obtain for my client. I was ultimately able to reach a settlement in the amount of $340,000 for the child and his parents.
