Description: The Zicam MultiDistrict Litigation MDL-2096 is a consolidation of federal Zicam cases throughout the United States for purposes of Pretrial Managment. The Zicam cases involve loss of smell and sometimes taste that is permanant in some cases. Zicam Nasal Sprays, Gels, and Swabs that are inserted in the nose were ordered withdrawn from the market by the FDA in June of 2009. Hundreds of lawsuits have been filed around the United States alleging loss of smell and taste from the product.
