We were not able to hire Attorney Barbara billiot Stage. However, We did get to confer with Her regarding Our HOA Foreclosure problem...She gave Us a couple of options to explore and She did say that She couldn't personally handle Our specific needs. She guided Us toward the right direction. She was very knowledgeable about HOA issues and graciously offered Her advice to Us. Thank You Ms. Stage for Your time and help.

I had questions about the HOA restricting owners about rentals. She answered my questions and quoted law to back up her answers. If our HOA amends the Declaration or tries to enforce the restrictions, Barbara Stage is the only attorney I will be seeking.

Just happened to email Barbara because of some questions related to an ongoing issue with an HOA hasseling me 5 years after turning over house in a Chap 7. I am out of state and had some questions. Barbara was quick to respond however not sure she could help me. If Barbara is an expert in Foreclosures and dealing with HOA's, give her a call because it's almost impossible to find someone that will go Head to Head with an HOA attorney who represents the HOA. They are brutal to deal with and can careless about you. Get representation sooner than later! Call Barbara and see if she can assist you.

had condotel 11 years. The board , COA management co. and rentals management co. , all decided to conspire against me with illegal threats and harassment . Barbara hit them with a Cease & Desist, she gave notice of intent, and notice of discovery preservation. Barbara knows exactly how these people lie cheat and steal. She knows what to demand and how to force them to turn it over. She knows all there little scams, and how to expose them. Extremely knowledgeable in the specific area of HOME/CONDO OWNER law. Barbara became furious with their lawyers nonsense , she put the city on notice and had them condemn the condotels parking garage ! When they retaliated against me (blocking the sale of my unit) for a slide presentation I gave to city counsel , Barbara told them " If you think my clients presentation was unfair wait til you hear from the reporters I have on speed dial" " now approve the sale and i'll cancel my television interview ". This women's real " Ballsy " . Ya gotta love her. She's the last thing a board , management co. etc.. want in their life. I've had top prominent criminal Lawyers : Joe Ballero of Boston, John Sutter of Nassau N.Y. and the great Ernie Peace of Suffolk N.Y. , and I rate Barbara Billiot Stage of Orlando performance of the same caliber. She's got that something that doesn't come with the degree, " genuine concern ". I love this women, I was being absurdly abused, she beat them down , kicked their ass's , made them do as we wanted, cost them a fortune and made them regret the day they tried to illegally evict me from my vacation condo on Christmas Eve with phony papers. I scoured the internet in search of a lawyer, I found Barbara on legal forums, answering questions with detailed comprehensive answers. Make no bones about it this women's all action , she started taking names right out of the gate, a depositions list, this women can audit all the paper work and with her experience and expertise locate the specifics of theft, and she'll hand her findings over to the State Attorney's Office for prosecution. I was most impressed with the manner for which Barbara came to practice this specific field of law, after law school she bought a condo and the board started abusing her. She understands and knows what these people do, not only was she not surprised but she enlightened me to the host of other nefarious dirty deeds that go hand in hand with what they were doing. Barbara knows the pressure points. What started out as miserable Christmas from hell, turned out being more fun then I've had in years once Barbara got on the case, I enjoyed Barbara's justice, watching them squirm and scramble , cry and pay out the ass, and they deserved it, they actually made the mistake of getting petty with her. When the City condemned their garage and wrapped it with orange tape and notices, I laughed my ass off and moon walked down A1A right in front of them. And you can't put a price on that. She's worth every dime ! , best money I ever spent ! Victory & Payback is priceless. If your in a position where a Board or management co, is doing you wrong, don't go to a " real estate closing " lawyer or some "all around practice " lawyer who knows nothing of the sordid dirty games played by these people. Condo boards and CAM management Co's. are out of control, lie - cheat & steal, harass and lie some more. They become " hubris " and must be dealt with by someone with explicit knowledge of their inner workings. I'm on your side, I like to see these people take a beating , I can vouch for the passion for which Barbara stood up for me and beat the hell out of the bastards.

1. When landlord agreed to drop wrongful eviction, Stage would not do so, because landlord wanted a payment plan to pay their fees. Stage stated they would take this to court anyway, which escalated fees from $450 to $3500. This caused further financial and emotional duress for my family in having to endure the stress and anguish over this proceeding. 2. Stage & Associates never informed us that we had cause to counter-sue for wrongful eviction. 3. When the judge ordered landlord to pay all fees for wrongful eviction, attorney for Stage had the mediation structured only to benefit themselves, ignoring my serious concerns. 4. When landlord refused to make payments, Stage & Associates billed BOTH me and landlord for the fees that the court order landlord to pay. 5. When issue of return of my security deposit arose, Stage & Associates asked me to point them to the FL statute that provided that landlord place my security deposit in an account and not use it for her purchase of new furniture for her house and her microwave. 6. Stage & Associates abandoned us in recovery of our security deposit issues, which Shantel Woodard promised they would assist with at the court proceeding 4 months earlier.
