I am currently in the process of having criminal background checks performed against me for my current job search. Nearly 13 years ago I had done something incredibly stupid and was very concerned that it may get flagged during these checks. I emailed Brian directly on a Friday afternoon after calling his office and learning he was not in that day. To my surprise he emailed me back later that night with very helpful information on how to access the PA PATCH system to obtain an official background check for myself. His reply was very cordial and detail oriented and most of all helpful. This kind of service is so rare these days and I can't thank him enough. I can rest easier now and I would and will gladly recommend him to anyone out there.

Mr. Fishman earned my son the best possible results for his theft charges. We were fighting an uphill battle with multiple charges in two cities. Now my son is in the ARD program with excellent terms and, when completed successfully, can put this personal derailment behind him for good. Mr. Fishman is sharp as a tack but talked to us about the complex legal process in terms we could understand.
Read through the other five star reviews. I whole heartedly agree with all them, keeping in mind that several were for far worse situations than ours! With respect to Mr. Fishman being smart, responsive, level headed, and thorough, I would add that it always felt like my son's case was the only one on his agenda. You will be heard while he offers hope with know-how and experience. If you're in a bad situation, you can expect dramatically better results without minimal drama getting there.

Brian is a very good lawyer he fought hard for my husband. My husband was charged with attempted murder---while on probation for a gun charge...tough right??! Not for Brian, he got him pre trial house arrest to get him back home to his family. He is very knowledgeable, honest (you can also be brutally honest with him), and follow up on email/calls/texts in a timely manner. He always got back to me within a few hours. He does what he says he will do--unlike other lawyers in our past. He kept me informed, copied me on emails/letters/petitions that I was allowed to see. We were denied house arrest one, he tried again. We were denied the detainer lifts , he tried again. He worked really hard and I could tell he did all he could (all the while I still owed him money). Of course we were reminded of our outstanding balance, but he never made it the focus of the case. He always looked tired when I saw him at court---- but that's because he fights hard for his client. Even when we were denied the previous house arrest and detainer attempts, I knew he did HIS job, its ultimately the judges decision. Brian did not quit and got my husband home on housecarrest....which was very tough considering the serious nature of the crime. I would highly recommend him , hopefully we won't need him any longer!! We still have to go to trial in Novem, but I feel confident in the case. If you are facing the criminal justice system.....get Brian!!!!

Our family hired Brian to help with a family member that took a wrong turn in life and made some bad decisions. Our child was charged with many counts of felony theft, conspiracy, deception, and a multitude of other charges stemming from drug addiction. Brian could see our child was a good person who had a past of being a good person and simply made mistakes that went down a dark path. When the whole thing started we thought it was a minor offense. Well that changed weeks into the whole process to a very serious offense that took us by surprise. Brian was honest and very knowledgeable and helped us understand what that meant in terms of the charges and possible outcomes. He made sure we were fully informed and was there for us through the whole process. In fact Brian was always just a call or email away and always quickly responded with thoughtful information not just short terse appeasement. There is no doubt Brian truly cared about our whole family. Brian worked for our family with the utmost professionalism; I trusted him through the whole process and still do. He kept our child out of jail in a situation that could have resulted in 5, 10, or more years of imprisonment. I was impressed with his knowledge of the laws, charges, possible outcomes, and even the situation we were in and how good people can become victims of circumstance. I would recommend Brian to anyone in need of a lawyer. In fact I went back to Brian for a referral in our local area when things took another turn for the worse because I trust him and by extension the people he would recommend. Our family truly thanks Brian for helping us through this difficult time.

Brian Fishman is a great attorney and an all around good honest person! I have dealt with lawyers for over 13 years both good and bad. Brian was one of the best lawyers I've have dealt with and I am saying this from an objective view point. He was very straight forward and always maintained contact with me via email and telephone. His prices were beyond reasonable for the caliber of attorney he is. He successfully filed a motion to terminate supervision and got my probation terminated a full year and a half early so I could leave Philadelphia and move to Los Angeles for a new job that I obtained. I would highly recommend Brian to anyone including my friends and family. Thank you so much Brian for services.

From the moment I stepped foot in Mr. Fishman's office, I felt at ease. He helped my boyfriend in every way he could which got us the outcome we wanted. The service he provided for us was perfect. Mr. Fishman was very helpful, understanding, and SO trustworthy, being as though I've never been through that situation before. He does not sugarcoat anything and tells you all of your possibilities whether you like them or not. He is definitely the first one on my list, God forbid something happens again. Thank you to Mr. Fishman, I really can't thank you enough.

The day that I called Mr. Fishman was the worst day of my life. I was just discharged from hospital before I was arrested, and charged with assault and recklessly endangering another person. My preliminary hearing was couple days away, and I was 4 months pregnant, with no support system in the city. I had no idea what to do. Mr. Fishman was really nice on the phone, he calmed me down, listened to my story, told me everything’s gonna be alright. and set up a meeting on the next day. He is very professional, he knows exactly what he is doing, he replies emails, texts and return calls right away. He answered all my questions and explained the whole situation to me, kept me informed the whole time. The most important is the result he got for me, after he communicated with the DA’s office, he got them to agree to withdraw all charges before the preliminary hearing! So if you want a trustworthy, knowledgeable, caring attorney, Fishman is the one. He would bring you.the best results. I certainly hope I will not need a Criminal Defence lawyer in the future, but if I do, I will hire no one other than Mr. Fishman. Thank you Mr. Fishman for being an awesome attorney and being such a kind person.

I have worked with Brian Fishman on 3 prior occasions to represent my fiance on 2 vop cases and 1 criminal case after working with Mr. Fishman I would NEVER work with any other attorney by far he is the best lawyer in Philadelphia my finance was arrested in 2012 and 2013 for violating his probation Mr. Fishman made sure he didn't serve any jail time on either case by having him enroll into a drug program but in 2014 my fiance faced much more problems when he was arrested on a gun charge but with the help of Mr Fishman my fiance charges were dropped at the 2nd preliminary hearing he did such a amazing job in the court room the prosecutor had no choice but to withdraw all charges I have nothing but great things to say about this attorney he is honest, trustworthy, understanding, friendly, supportive, I was so comfortable working with Mr. Fishman at times when I spoke with him on the telephone I felt like I was speaking with a friend his work is priceless if your reading this review because your in need of a attorney please look no further you have just found the perfect one

I would never use another lawyer in Philadelphia. When Brian Fishman took our sons case we felt like our lives were crashing down around us. Our son had a criminal drug case in Philadelphia but was also in trouble in another city. A bad outcome of this case could cause terrible long-term repercussions there. The case in Philadelphia turned out exactly as we hoped, but didn't believe would. Every time we communicated with Brian, we always felt like he had my son’s best interest at heart. He guided us expertly through the path we wanted to explore with the case, and never made my son feel like a terrible person. He was very honest about the case and didn't try to rush us through the process. Whenever we spoke with Brian we felt like a 1000 pound weight was lifted off of our shoulders. He is very smart, professional, responsive and an excellent lawyer, but also has a wonderful way with clients--and that made all the difference for our son. We came to Brian at the lowest point in our son’s life. We were lucky to find him and lucky he accepted the case. I truly believe he is one of a few people who came into our lives at that time who helped our son turn his life around. We have nothing but the highest praise for Brian Fishman.

Brian M. Fishman is by far the best who's ever done his job he knows exactly what he's doing and kept me informed the entire time he was representing me. Not only was I impressed by the outcome of my case but I was impressed by how much he knew about everything he was talking about. I'd highly recommend him to represent anyone who needs a defense attorney. He's amazing at his job!
