Description:Client charged with felony and misdemeanor sex charges related to internet contact with a gilr under 16. Facing significant state prison time and lifetime registration as a sex offender. Had client evaluated by a psychologist who specializes in sex crimes. Evaluation showed client was not a threat. Felony charges were withdrawn, client pled to a misdemeanor that does not require registration as a sex offender, and client given probation. At sentencing judge commented on the record that the reason client received probation is due to the report I had done on client.
