No one likes to take family matters to court. However, sometimes you are left no choice. When that time comes choose Sumner!

After seeing my wife continually turn the other cheek with her ex-husband, for years, his continual disrespect of judges orders caused us to take legal action. As unfortunately having a rational conversation with this individual had never been possible, we seeked an attorney. Sumner came highly recom...mend and when we met with him for the first time we knew we made the right choice. Although he spent well over an hour consulting with us we weren’t billed for a penny over the 60 minutes. Sumner immediately made it his duty to not only fully understand our issues but also bring to the table his years of experience with the Gwinnett County Judges and what they would and would not go for. His wisdom and compassion kept my wife calm as her ex got himself re-arrested, it was found that his wife was posting vulgar and derogatory remarks about my wife and our 2 sweet children, and as we suffered through 2 miscarriages all during this process. Through it all I know Sumner had the best interest of my family in mind. In the end he gave me peace of mind as I saw my wife go from being walked on to being a force to be reckoned with. Sumner continues to check in with us, and we with him, as he is always there when an issue arises and has no problem addressing it head on. Best experience!

Going through a divorce is awful. Sumner was so understanding and supportive. Moments I was ready to throw in the towel, he helped me not to. He is so knowledgeable and understands what's best for you. He cares so much about the children and what is the best for them. He was always there to answ...er every question and always followed up To make sure you were doing what you were supposed to do. The best part was it wasn't about winning, it was doing what was best for you, your family and your future!!

Best divorce attorney in Gwinnett

Sumner was so easy to talk with about my situation and always easy to get ahold of whether via phone or email. Very professional. Very knowledgable. Definitely helped me come out better than I ever thought was possible. Would recommend him everyday of the week and twice on Sundays.

Sumner is outstanding!!

I have never had to hire an attorney in my life. I did not even know where to begin. A friend highly recommended Sumner. Within the first 15 minutes of my initial consult I knew I had found the right person for the job. He listened closely to what I had to say. He was direct, honest, and very kn...owledgeable. No divorce is easy. It is probably the scariest and most emotional thing a person will ever go through. There are always curveballs being thrown. Sumner gloved every single one. And did so with a professional calmness that helped calm me down. The process is long over for me thanks to Sumner. I have friends who are going through divorces of their own. I hear the discontent with their attorneys. The usual complaints of over-billing, their attorneys never being available, and not having the confidence their attorneys will ever settle their cases. Seemingly dragging on forever. Costing them a fortune. This was simply not the case with me. Sumner is a great attorney, and a good person. A combination you don’t see too often. I have recommended Sumner to several people already and will continue to do so.
