Brilliant and Compassionate

I hired Sumner for multiple contempt charges against my ex husband. Unfortunately it quickly became also a parenting plan modification when my ex husband decided to further complicate the issues. I had spent years allowing this man to bully me and keep me too consumed with fear of retaliation to seek... legal help. Sumner was the brilliant bulldog that I needed to give me the courage I had lacked. He worked tirelessly to get an outcome that was in the best interest of my children. There were many twists and turns throughout the process, including my ex ending up in jail for almost two months and the stress of legal drama being compounded with the heartache of multiple miscarriages. Sumner was always there to be a welcome voice of reason to keep me focused when I felt like giving up. He always had the uncanny ability to honestly tell me when I was being unreasonable while also showing compassion and truly seemed to care about me and my family. I only wish I had hired him for the original divorce case, as I probably wouldn't have found myself in the mess I came to him with. Sumner continues to be a wealth of knowledge and is always willing to help when I need him. He has been a God-send and I would never consider anyone else to represent me. Sumner is a wonderful person and an ingenious lawyer and I absolutely recommend him.

Modification of Alimony and Contempt Case

Mr. Riddick handled my legal case with the upmost of professionalism and courtesy. His knowledge of the law and court procedures is astounding. His efforts on this complicated case were incredible, which resulted in an outstanding performance in court and a landslide win for us. Tenacious, trustworthy, and the attorney who set things RIGHT

In my opinion, each case is unique to the situation. Depending on that situation, the attorney uses the gathered facts to best present the case. If an attorney advises a client a favorable action plan to support the case, I would accept that plan with considerable weight knowing that he/she knows be...st due to years of experience. It is also the responsibility of the client to follow the attorney's advice. Having done so, Sumner Riddick earned a favorable decision for my unique situation. I had a child out of wedlock in the state of Georgia. I was awarded primary custody. For the expense of a custody battle, Sumner Riddick was the best choice.
