I hired Scott in July of this year after his office hounded me to sign with them to represent me in my longtime employment harassment/work comp case. As soon as I signed, his workers fell silent. They did not return calls, messages or e-mails. Communication was so bad that I requeste a face to face m...eeting with Scott 4 times and was not granted one. I only got to meet him for 1 hour (the day before my deposition---and we are talking about 2 injuries, one which is permanent and then I went through over 8 years of harassment). How was I supposed to be prepared for a deposition having gone through 8.5 years of horrible harassment? How could he feel that was adequate time for such major abuses. I asked him what work had been done on my case, he couldn't tell me that he had done any. He made excuses for his office workers who frequently put me on long holds and didn't return calls or e-mails. He asked me if I wanted him to go into the opposing counsels room to see if they had 1000 dollars for my permanent lifetime injury. LOL @ 1000 dollars when half of your back is shot!!! He joked with the opposing counsel and blocked my boyfriend from trying to assist me who is disabled. Needless to say, Scott was fired before my deposition started so there wasn't one. He then told me that I would be representing myself and to proceed with the deposition and pushed a paper in front of me advising me to sigh it which would have been very favorable to the opposing counsel. He notified me that he would not be representing the employment side of my case in October of this year making me miss out on crucial EEOC filing deadlines. Those, you cannot EVER get back. I believed that he was working on my behalf but he did nothing. His office is located in the same city as Sedgewick CMS services a work comp company. He was awfully chummy with the opposing lawyers and even ganged up on me at the end with them after firing him. He says he does not practice employment law, a definite lie, look at his website and what services he offers. Stay away from this lawyer.

I worked in a hospital in Pasadena and when I got injured at work, the response from management and employee health was nothing short of "so what." This response in the hospital industry is business as usual. What this hospital failed to notice is that I am not one to tolerate that response. In fact,... NOBODY needs to tolerate an administration that treats it's employees as being less than human. So I contacted Mr. Schwartz. His response was swift and highly effective. He knows how to handle work comp cases like I would not have expected. Right now, as I am writing this, I am at a loss for words that would express my gratitude for what he has done. I am not saying this just because he won my case in a very rapid and decisive manner. I am saying this because it is the truth, it is very real. When people ask me for advise, I often times tell them to do their homework. I can assure you that there is no need to do your homework as you pursue your work comp case. Mr. Schwartz is the go-to if you want a walk off grand slam to win your case.

Scott was very attentive to all the details of my case. He was wonderful during the deposition by helping me understand everything and speaking up when things weren't right. He fought for me the whole way and didn't give up until the people who wronged me were made to come clean. I will always hold h...im with high regard. Thank you Scott!

Scott Schwartz was excellent, patient and had only a positive, outgoing attitude toward the situation at hand. He handled tasks quickly and efficiently. My expierence with my lawyer is great. He is a very concerning lawyer for not only your well being but your happy-ness.
