Never again

They had me paid $500 for Two hours consultation. The biggest mistake i ever had in my life. After the two hours of professional consultation as they called, They advised me to not apply for my Green Card for at least two years because of my record which is so not true. Because I have hired a differe...nt lawyer after two years of waisted and he told me that you could have applied for your Green card two years ago with no problem. I am really disappointed at you and your professional lier.

I am not sure you're talking about me. I work alone, thus there is no 'they' in my office. Please have your new lawyer contact me, or you can call me. That way, if you consulted with me, I can pull your file. ADDITIONAL COMMENT: Your new lawyer never contacted me. Please retract your negative comment, or have your lawyer call me.

Great Communication & Advisor

I consulted this humble man about my case as a spouse of a U.S Citizen and he was the 1st to respond and he advise me by answering my question n give reason for those answer now am confident in my case n hope for the best thank you sir

Rather Condescending and Makes Assumptions

Perhaps he is used to dealing with more ill informed individuals. He seemed to make a couple of odd assumptions for no reason. Either he misread what I wrote or he was not that interested. Either way, not for me.

Thank you for your honest comments. Yes, most people, in fact most attorneys, don't understand the incredibly complex US immigration laws/process. As a person who recently gave me a 5 star review stated ... I strive to explain things at a level that most people understand, rather than 'talking over their heads'. Have a good day.

Very good person

I talked to Mr. Capriotti for 5 minutes and he is a knowledgeable and experience lawyer in immigration. I didnt pay yet consultation fee. Am surprised to see people writing about him stupid things. You need knowledge, PAY FOR IT He paid for his education and experience with money and years and he ...has right to ask for fees. On the personality, he sounds a proud person of him self and i consider this a plus :-) On the other hand, i know money is not easy to find, by good attitude and negotiation you can reach to an acceptable fee.

Marriage-base CR1 Visa filing

After exchanging emails with him a few times, I was skeptical about hiring him to do my I-130 marriage- base visa process. He told him that I am a U.S citizen, have no criminal history, get steady job and good income, still he never told me the range of the legal fee if I hire him. Instead, he wanted... me to pay him $400 just to chat with him via SKYPE. I was surprise to read the last two reviews, and I am fortunate that I decided not to hire him for my I-130 process .

I never cease to be amazed by people that want something for nothing. We answer public questions on AVVO for free, when we feel like it. If someone contacts an attorney directly, they should be prepared to pay for the attorney's time. This person seems to think that he/she has the ability to fully evaluate the case ... implying that it mus be simple ... and want's to insist of a fixed/low price without allowing the attorney to apply his/her professional judgement in determining what potential problems may exist ... that this non-attorney probably doesn't know about. It is similar to calling a mechanic and inquiring ... my car is making a knocking noise ... I always change the oil and take good care of it ... please give me a fixed-fee quotation without looking under the hood. To top it off, this person falsely claimed to have hired me 1-6 months ago .. which, by his/her own admission, is not true. ============================================================== I trust that reasonable people reading this will understand that it just isn't necessary to bad mouth someone in this way ... especially when you don't know what you're talking about. ============================================================== Regarding my SKYPE services. My Skype calls are not 'chats' ... far from it ... they average 2+ hours ... you in fact get more time and information from me than you get from going into most attorneys offices for 30-45 minutes. On a marriage case such as this, about 50% of the people who have a Skype consultation with me proceed to 'do-it-themselves'. I have no problem with this. At the end of the consultation they have been given all the forms, know all the steps and processing times and have even been given a written check-list that I prepare especially for them. They can use to this information to do things 'the right way' rather than stumbling around the internet getting conflicting and confusing information. Plus, I offer a FREE FOLLOW-UP SERVICE in which they can e-mail me questions about process and procedure, which I answer at no additional cost. So, if you are a person that want's something for nothing and/or a fee quote without letting the lawyer 'look under the hood' I suggest you not contact an attorney via private e-mail. You will both be much happier.
