Excellent family lawyer

Miranda handled a complex legal guardianship for us. She went above and beyond to help us to navigate a process involving absent biological parents and the Department of Human Services. Thanks to Miranda’s hard work our family is complete. We couldn’t be happier with her work on our case.

Caring, Compassionate, Dedicated and Successful

I hired Miranda to help me with obtaining Guardianship of 2 of my grandchildren after their father was killed in a horrible accident and another non-family member was trying to gain custody of them. Miranda was so empathetic to my situation. She took time to talk with me over the phone many times to ...help calm my anxiety and fears. She gave me direct and precise directions to follow. I feel she gave me the best legal advise in my situation. The process was long and daunting fighting this other person. But Miranda stood by us and I now have guardianship of my granddaughters. She did a fantastic job. I would recommend Miranda first and foremost to anyone if they asked me.

I hired Miranda to represent me when I left my husband of 19 years. The divorce could have gotten very messy. My request was "let's get this done as quickly as possible." The papers were filed and the divorce was finalized within a month of me hiring her. She was there for me every step of the way, a...nswered all of my questions promptly, and protected me from making one very bad decision in regards to sharing custody of my dogs. I've recommended Miranda to everyone I know who's going through a divorce, and I'll continue to do so. Divorce is never fun, but she made it as painless as possible.

Life Saver

I hired Ms Summer after firing an other attorney that made me feel just awful! After 30 yrs of marriage and not knowing what I was going to do, Miranda guided me, supported me, answered my STUPID questions and most of all cared and WORKED for me. My son and myself could have not gotten thru this te...rrible time in my life without her and her staff! Since my divorce she has checked in on us to make sure all is well, which she didn’t have too! Anytime I’m asked about a family attorney, the first person that comes to mind is Miranda Summer and her staff! I know I would have never gotten thru divorce without all her help and compassion. Miranda is the real deal! Hoping I will never need her services again, but if I do/did she will be the first person I call. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you have done for my son and I! Michelle and Matthew

Worst experience ever

I hired this woman a few years back for a family law issue, which involved my disabiled daughter constatnly being abused by her father, his family, & the daycare they sent her to. After picking my daughter you from her father, she was clearly under server emotional distress. After contacting the chil...d abuse hotline & taking her to Urgent care, I made sure to reach out to miss Summer to advise her. We brefily discussed otions aval. to save my daughter, & decided to file an immediate danger report. This chuick not only had me do all the work, but had the audicity to NOT appear in court. When I finally asked for any & all documents she had filed under my case, she flipped out, did a complete 360 & became a whole other person. Was agressive, rude, disrespectful. etc.. Funny thing, I've YET TO RECEIVE MY FILES. Which btw are suppose to be kept for 10 years. However she's refused to send mine. SHE HAD NO PROBLEM MAKING SURE TO NOT REFUSE MY MONEY, considering I did all the work for her, she simply continued talking about her daughter, never about my case, showed zero intrest or empathy towards the unfortunate and severe repeated abuse that my than infant less than one year old disabled child was receiving. so in essence unless you want to become a lawyer yourself and pay someone for you to do all of their work I wouldn't suggest that you have any dealings with her good luck on that homefront though.
