Very Kind and Helpful Attorney!

We were facing a US DOL Wage and Hour matter. Mr. Allen was busy with other matters and couldn't take our case but he was very very kind and helpful with helping us find another attorney for our case! He is truly one of the best attorney's in Spokane.

Best employment law lawyer in town!!!!!!'

Kelly represented me in a very contentious employment case. I was very nervous about the entire situation and Kelly put me at ease by really listening to me, explaining the law and talking honestly about the good and bad facts in my case. At mediation Kelly was well prepared and really advocated for... getting me a great settlement; better than I could have imagined. Kelly really knows the law and worked hard for me. I recommend him to anyone needing a great employment lawyer!

Keller Allen did an excellent job!

Keller Allen did an excellent job in representing our company.

Posted by Kirk | September 11, 2010 | Lawsuits & Disputes

Vice President, Human Resources & Communications

My organization used Kelly for claims defense, advice and counsel, and as a general sounding board prior to making impactful decisions. In an environment where people are quick to bring claims and charges of wrongful action, it is critical to have expert counsel that balances reasonableness with ris...k. Kelly maintains that balance providing advice that appropriately assesses liability without running from every potential risk. If you need legal counsel, I strongly recommend Keller W. Allen.

Stellar Counsel

Our firm used Kelly on two separate occasions dealing with employee separation, release and settlement agreements. He was incredibly responsive, even when on travel for a court appearance, and his knowledge relating to prior case law in multiple states was incredible. He is a delight to deal with a...nd his services are unmatched.

"I endorse this lawyer. Kelly Allen is viewed by attorneys in this area as the preeminent employment lawyer in the northwest, and is truly a 'lawyer's lawyer.' His background is impressive, with scholastic accolades, federal clerkships, teaching appointments and professional publications. But the two areas in which he separates himself are based on his interpersonal communication skills and courtroom presence, which cannot be understated. He commands respect, whether in negotiaton or argument -- perhaps the single most valuable gift a prospective client would hope for."

"Keller is one of the top employment lawyers in Eastern Washington. He is experienced, knowledgeable, hard-working, and professional. I regularly call Keller when I am struggling with an employment law issue on one of my cases. He has authored many of the articles and publications used by lawyers in Washington when practicing employment law. His courtroom skills are exceptional, and he has a stellar reputation with the judges in the region."

"I was Plaintiff's counsel on a wrongful discharge suit where Kelly defended the employer. It involved complicated questions of state/federal jurisdiction and whether ERISA would apply. Throughout Kelly was courteous, respectful and professional and exhibited excellent lawyer skills in his written and oral presentations. He prevailed on summary judgment. I would recommend him for anyone with an employment case based on my experience with him "across the courtroom"."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
