Justin Allen Chin

I hired Justin Chin in 2018 to represent me in a divorce. He was unorganized, uncommunicative and unprofessional at best. He actually stepped away from me once at the courthouse to consult another client and hand out his business card - while I was paying him and he should have been giving his att...ention to my case. After almost 2 years and no progress with my divorce, I had to fire him. I'm now, 6 years later, trying to finalize my divorce and one of the attorneys that I consulted with actually stated "Oh, you had Justin Chin? That explains it." in regards to my case still not being settled. Don't give this man any money.

This guy completely failed me to in trial. First, he had months to work on my exhibit and case, but he waited until the night before trial to file them. Second, he actually filed on the morning of court on the last court appear prior to this one. He is not an attorney you want fighting for your child.... This man watched the other party go through their exhibits in trial and I begged him to go through mine to show the evidence and proof and he did not walk through my exhibits which caused me to lose because everything was delivered last minute and they didn’t look at my evidence. I was texting him during the virtual begging him to ask the other party certain questions and he did not ask not one question. The man grilled me harder than he grilled the other party. It’s almost like someone made a bet with him to be a lawyer and he did. I have had 3 other attorneys tell me that a lot of his clients fire him because they realize how much money was wasted on him to lose their case.

"I hired Justin in July 2021 and he had my son legitimated by March 2022 and got me joint primary physical custody with week-on/week-off! I also get four weeks in the summer and a FaceTime call at 7pm daily! Make sure you follow all of your lawyer's instructions and follow the process. The mediator... that Justin chose was 72 years old and was awesome! I really appreciate Justin & his teams help. I hired Justin in November 2021 to file my divorce, by February, I had a temporary Order granting me custody of my two children, child support, and the Judge gave me 4,000 in attorney’s fees!  Justin leveraged his existing relationship with the Judge, showed up in person to my hearing, negotiated par...tial settlement to grant me custody, then litigated the monies!  We have a final hearing in May and I will be divorced in six months from start to finish!  Don’t cave to your child’s Father’s demands, and hire a lawyer.

“I hired Justin to defend custody and legitimation of my baby.  Justin effectively settled the case so that the Father doesn’t have any overnights until age 2; however, he blocked the Father from getting any visitation for last year, and any visitation that the Father did get was supervised by my Mo...m.  Justin effectively negotiated with opposing counsel and never criticized my case.  He does this by settling parenting time then letting the court decide on the monies.  The mediator that Justin has worked with was fantastic and Justin’s history with the mediator and the Judge helped get this done in my favor.  Justin knows a lot of people in the system since he knows how to build relationships with them and can call you in a favor.  It was tough to follow the directions but listen to what your lawyer says!
