TPO / DIVORCE

Mr. CHIN of Chin Family Law, is Professional, Passionate, and Determined. Thank You Sir This is just a little insight on my situation TPO / DIVORCE On October 30th I was served with a TPO from my wife of 11 years., it turned my world upside down, I literally didn't know what the hell was goi...ng on, when the sheriff came to my home where I pay all the Bills down to the smallest bill., to remove me from my home for 1 month., For the 1st time in my life I had NO rights for the things I work so hard for including my kids, I was really upset and confused., My wife the petitioner soon to be Ex. told some outrageous lies to the Cobb County Courts. I wasted no time looking for legal representation., Just like you, I was searching through Google, reading reviews, trying to find good representation at a good price., After hours of searching, getting quotes and making calls, I found MR. CHIN on this site around 4am it showed he was Online, I started texting and sending messages and asking questions he responded right away., He gave me a lot of insight on the TPO matter and filing for divorce, which I already had plans to do. and ways we can approach this matter. I paid my Retainer in full., did all the paperwork Mr. Chin requested from me and in 3 days of me being removed from home my divorce request was filed and was being served., My court date for TPO hearing was on NOV. 24, 2 days ago., Mr. CHIN presented evidence in my case I submitted., my wife (the petitioner tried to reschedule after viewing evidence she knew she could be in trouble)., The Judge DISMISSED the case. I can now go back home and also have communications with my kids. Thank you Mr. Chin for everything Sir.

Unprofessional and Unreliable

I found Justin Chin online when I was searching for a last-minute tax preparation service while visiting Atlanta. His communication was informal but he offered me a good price for the services I was requesting. Unfortunately, the saying “you get what you pay for” turned out to be very true is this ca...se. At first, I was happy with the service provided by Justin, mostly because he was able to finish my taxes before the deadline at a very reasonable cost. Although my request was only for him to file my federal and state taxes, he ended up sending me a full background check that he ran on me (without my permission), which I thought was kind of odd. He said it was an “added service”, however I didn’t request it and wasn’t extremely comfortable that he ran a report on my background without permission. The taxes were filed and I paid the agreed upon fee. Months later though, the state contacted me and asked for a missing document in my tax package that Justin had prepared. I immediately emailed Justin and he said not to worry that and that he would take care of it, however I never heard back from him. I followed up with him a few times and a month later he requested that I open a retainer with his firm in order for him to look into the state’s request. This confused me as I was only asking him to finish the service that I had already paid him for. When I questioned him about the money, his response was “I would have at least offered half the retainer if I were in your shoes but I understand you are green in business so I’m letting you off the hook.” This was the last I heard from Justin despite many emails requesting clarification on the services he provided me. Since this time, the state has audited my tax documents and found that without the requested document, Justin incorrectly filed my taxes and I owed the state a few hundred dollars. Since neither Justin, nor anyone in his firm, has responded to my numerous emails, I have forced to find another accountant that can clear up this issue for me. I used Justin’s services because I am not an expert in tax and I trusted his knowledge and expertise. However, I greatly regret ever meeting him and I strongly advise you avoid him and his firm no matter how attractive of a price he may offer you. I can understand if he made a mistake on my tax package, however the fact that he has completely ghosted me and is not willing to follow up and correct his mistake proves his unprofessionalism and immaturity. Take my advice and learn from my mistake and pay a little extra for a REAL professional.

You do not want him....

I hired this person to handle a very sensitive case. He first stated that he would help me, that he was passionate about helping women and children and that he would get started on my case for a payment of $1500 with an agreement that I would pay the remainder within about a week or so of the first ...payment. That did not happen. He made excuses and delayed until the entire payment was made. He claims that he does not charge for phone calls or emails with his clients and wants to keep costs low but has not refunded any of my money. He spent an unbelievable amount of time asking me questions and I answered them, sent over paperwork, only to have him then ask me how I thought we should proceed. He is the lawyer and I hired him for that purpose because I do not know the law...if I did I would not need an attorney. He supposedly had requested help from an associate about my case and then sent over that person's questions to me and assured me that they were coming up with a strategy for my case. It took him almost two weeks to file my paperwork for the motion that he suggested, he claimed that he had dropped it off, but it is my belief that he simply mailed the paperwork because he was not in the state at the time I needed the filing completed. This would not have bothered me had he told me upfront that he was in another state. I provided this attorney with recordings, text messages and videos that would have shed light on my case and proven my case and he never used them. He knew that I would face a contempt charge, but stood shaking like a leaf in court, stuttering and stumbling over his words and when I asked him to admit the proof to the court while I was on the stand, he ignored me and said that he was finished presenting. I have copies of the transcripts of my hearing and he did absolutely nothing to help me. He did not earn one red cent of the money that was wasted on him and he did not do background information on my case which cause both him and me to look foolish. That coupled with all of the bad advice that he gave, caused me to suffer. I would never hire this person again and you better be careful, because if your case is complicated and serious, he will ruin it.

Most definitely recommend!

This is a great firm!! Attorney Justin Chin and his assistant Ashley is an eloquent example of a sharp legal mind. They constantly provided me with legal advice and always kept me informed with my case. When I got frustrated and lost hope Ashley was there reassuring me she had my back and words can’t... describe how I feel, she always made me feel at easy with my difficult case. I hope I get to take you out to dinner one day Ashley. The Christian Legal firm is definitely a top choice in handling legal services without them I wouldn’t have got my daughter back. Thank you guys again!
