Very professional service!!!

Expectional attorney with great knowledge and experience

I have been to couple of lawyers for consultation before I decided to visit attorney stock for consultation about my asylum case, second day I decided to hire her for my asylum case as she deomostrated professional attitude and showed deep knowledge in the immigration field, but most important she set the expectation right from the beginning. The last was very important factor for my deciding to hire her. Attorney stock and her team handled my case with care and they paid attention to the minor details and helped me through the case preperation. Few months after we filed my case my work transferred me from Anchorage to Houston Texas. When the interview time come 15 months after the filing date, attorney stock flew all the way down to Houston one day before the interview to prepare for my interview, I have to admit it was a very thorough session which helped me a lot during the actual interview in the next day. When we entered the USCIS office, everybody showed respect to her which gave me a lot of confidence, even the immigration officer mentioned that I am lucky to have attorney stock as my lawyer , indeed she ( the officer) was right. The interview went smooth and attorney stock interviend when needed. Yesterday she called me to give me the wonderful news that I have been approved as asylee in the United States and a day after I received the communication from USCIS confirming that. me and my wife were so lucky to have her as our lawyer and I thank her and her responsive team from my heart for the hard and professional work .

I focus my practice on immigration and citizenship law and have handled every type of immigration case, from family immigration matters to business and investor cases and citizenship applications. I am a nationally known expert on immigration and national security laws, and have testified regularly before Congressional committees on immigration, homeland security, and military matters. As a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the Military Police, U.S. Army Reserve, I have extensive experience with U.S. military issues. I have also worked as a professor at the United States Military Academy at West Point, and have served as an adjunct instructor at the University of Alaska. I was a member of the American Bar Association Commission on Immigration from 2008-2012. I regularly author articles on military-related immigration issues, and am well-versed on “parole in place” for military family members and the Military Accessions Vital to the National Interest (“MAVNI”) Program. I authored the book Immigration Law & the Military, which was published by the American Immigration Lawyers Association in 2012. On September 25, 2013, I was named a 2013 MacArthur Fellow by the John D. & Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.

Expert, accurate, fast and reliable

With the help of Atty. Stock, I was able to get my green card in just around 4.5 months from the date of filing. Even on a very tight on schedule, all my forms were submitted ahead of time. There was no delay in the processing of my case because all the needed documents were prepared very meticulously and accurately. As a uniformed service member, Margaret helped me with a very complex naturalization application and achieving the desired results. Outstanding Experience with Attorney Margaret Stock and her staff

Attorney Margaret Stock was highly recommended and endorsed to us by another immigration lawyer from state of Illinois due to the urgency of my brother’s complicated legal situation and we were assured that she will be the best lawyer, who is very competent and very knowledgeable, in the field of military immigration laws, and one who can help us. Amazing services

My lawyers Reux Stearns and Margaret are exceptionally great at what they do. I was placed in removal proceedings and they reverse that situation for me. it took a lot of hours in preparing my case, interviews etc. They were supportive and was there for me throughout the process, and the good news is "I am still in the USA and I just became a citizen in 09/09/2022". Switching lawyers was the BEST decision i ever made. After going through two lawyers who didn't know how to handle my case, I finally found Margaret and her team. They are second best to NONE. One of the best indicators of a competent and dedicated immigration attorney is their willingness to take on challenging cases

We hired Attorney Stock to help us file an I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, N-400, Application for Naturalization, and other forms. Before meeting Attorney Margaret Stock, my husband and I worked with two prior attorneys. Both attorneys were unable to help us with our case. However, when we met with Attorney Stock, our difficult case did not deter her from helping us. At the time, I was a U.S. citizen and in the military. Our case was difficult because my husband was accused of a false claim to U.S. citizenship. Still, thanks to Attorney Stock's extensive military experience and expertise in immigration and national security laws, we obtained my husband's citizenship. Even after moving out of Alaska, Attorney Stock was still able to help us, and not once did I doubt her ability.

Margret Stock vs lawyers

Denied cases are all alike; every approved case is approved in its own way. I think that all denied cases alike fail because they process only with vague desires. On the other hand, each successful cases succeed in its own way because they process professionally after analyzing their own situation accurately. My case was the one. Margret Stock and I applied for EB2 NIW based on MAVNI, and this rare case was approved. It’s a very difficult case for most lawyers because it required professional legal knowledge, experience, and know-how for military and immigration. Attorney Stock was ready to do and handled every crisis very well. For example, my biggest crisis was Request for Evidence (RFE) for I-140 which required why I am qualified to get the approval. She wrote an excellent letter and resolved it. At the beginning of this feedback, I adapted “Happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way”, the opening line of Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina. If you think why some unhappy things happen only to you and believe your situation is so tangled up, contact her. She is the right person to do right things for your case. I would totally recommend her in a heartbeat. Great job, Margret. You’re the best lawyer!
