Attorney reviewing attorney.

I am an Alaskan attorney who has known Margaret Stock by reputation for many years. I became a client when my Colombian wife wished to become a permanent US resident. I can now offer both perspectives. Margaret is excellent in her immigration specialty. I expected this based on her reputatio...n. I also know good lawyers are quite busy and from a client's perspective each person's case is of great importance. With this knowledge I greatly appreciated Margaret's quick responses to all of our questions. She prepared our documents and organized our evidence with top professional care. Our application for permanent residency was successful and sailed through the USCIS process smoothly. Margaret and all of the staff at Cascadia Cross Border Law including our interpreter Eduardo kept us informed at every step. Margaret has a well deserved reputation in her nationwide practice as a leading immigration attorney. We are fortunate to have her assistance here in Alaska. You will not find a better attorney representative in immigration matters.

We Considered It a Hopeless Case Until We Collaborated with the Most Suitable and Exceptional Attorney

We contacted Atty. Stock in early 2024 to work in my case, my green card was denied previously when working with other local immigration lawyers. I was devastated and hopeless but Atty. Stock helped and advised us of other ways to work on our case that we never heard from our previous lawyer, I could... definitely see her expertise and experience speaking with her job. Just less than a year my green card was finally approved on January 2025 and forever grateful with her team and her professionalism. We regret not having sought the counsel of Attorney Stock initially. Although her services may be expensive, the quality of her work is exceptional. If you have a sensitive case or require any immigration advice, I highly recommend consulting with her; you will not regret it. Her expertise is well worth the investment! The best Immigration Lawyer ever!

Margaret has helped several of my family members for over a decade get Permanent Residency and Citizenship. We have worked with her and her staff very closely. Margaret is extremely knowledgeable, competent and easy to work with. She helped file our cases successfully, and then prepped my family memb...ers for the interviews. Many of them were fluent only in Spanish, and not well versed in English….. yet she and her team did an admirable job, and were always respectful.

Great Experience

Working with an immigration lawyer who successfully navigated my case was a truly positive experience. They were incredibly knowledgeable and guided me through every step of the process with patience and clarity. Their expertise and dedication made a complex and stressful situation much more manageab...le, and I felt supported and confident throughout. Thanks to their hard work, I achieved a successful outcome.

Review

I am grateful to Attorney Stock for everything she has done for me. Without her support and everything she has done under the MAVNI program, my dream of becoming an American will never be true. Her advice at every stage of the application process helped me get a US visa and successfully complete ...the citizenship naturalization process. I want to recommend her to all future applicants.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
