When one morning, my car ended up being rear-ended by another larger vehicle, it had a profound effect on my physical and physiological wellbeing. The mere fact that it was a regular commute day like thousands of others in over a decade prior, the thought that, suddenly in a blink of an eye everythin...g could be turned upside down, made me realize firsthand that nothing can be taken for granted. For months and months following the accident, besides the ongoing chiropractic, massage, and PT treatments, I was extremely anxious to drive fearing another accident can occur again. Unfortunately, my healing process was taking months and months, which didn’t play well with the at-fault party’s insurance provider that appears to apply a standard set of criteria to each case without really considering each person’s specific physical and other conditions. Meanwhile, Sara was tirelessly working in the background shielding me from worrying about it all. She was regularly checking on my treatment progress and kept me updated on the state of my case. She made herself very accessible via email, phone, and in-person appointments at a moment’s notice, which really made me feel treated as a priority. Sara continued to work with that provider’s legal counsel until, with some compromises, the latter relented and settled the case stopping just short of the actual trial. This settlement covered all my medical expenses including the sizable deductible I had to pay to my medical insurance provider that picked up my medical bills while my case was in progress.
