False Rape Allegation & Rrestraining Order Issue

I had been falsely accused of rape, gun threat & physical abuse by my ex-girl friend just last month on Jan. 2012. Pretty much I was shocked by my ex's false police report & all the lies on her restraining order. Luckily, I met such a great lawyer and he helped me out to collect all the evidences on ...time to prove my innocence. Mr. McAleer is knowledgeable about criminal law and hereby I highly recommend him.

Saved me from my DUI charge!

I spoke with several attorneys before hiring Erin who all gave me the same general advice. When I met with Erin he took the time to go over my case in great detail before advising me of his opinion. I liked his approach and hired him. It was apparent that Erin clearly knew the in's and out's of DUI. ...Erin always returned my calls promptly, emailed me updates of my case the day they happened, and advised me of the next step in the process. In the end my DUI was dismissed, and I know I was lucky and thank Erin for his hard work to make it happen. I would recommend Erin to anyone.

Judge for Yourself; Actions Speak LOUDER Than Words

I disagree with these positive reviews. I am the owner of a 33 SPACE RV PARK and wanted to evict tenants occupying my mobile home. We believed we could terminate their month/month lease based on “no cause” with a simple 60 day notice of Termination. I spoke to Stephanie Radecke an attorney at Erin... Bradly Mc Aleer who looked at the facts (especially an email from my tenant who said she would be following "THE LETTER OF THE LAW" and proceeded to take my case ; Even though I did NOT have a proper foundation. Her after response was after I lost this case, that I told her “ to proceed any way”. Why would I proceed on a case without a proper foundation for FOUR THOUSAND dollars is beyond me??? The ETHICAL thing to do was NOT take my case and make it undeniably clear, I did not have justification in moving forward. When I question her on the high fee of a $4K retainer, she told me her fee was high because she would be vigilant and responsive as she does not use paralegals and I would have my case strongly represented in a shorter period of time; that apparently seems their “mantra of justification” of fees. Once this firm received my money, she was always in court on various other cases and barely accessible; communication was POOR at Best, with my managers needing to go to court delivering documents, the last minute due to her inattention. My case was contested by a public defender representing these tenants at the last moment based on NO CAUSE. Then Stephanie told me she can amend my case for another $2K, and base it on “non payment” by the tenants. I did not accept payment from them when I started the eviction and returned their first check, so I was 50/50 on this, however told her to proceed and get them served, that was on a Friday; On the following Monday when my managers called her to see if they were served that was not done; When I spoke to her, she said she was “spaced out” and she was going to withdraw from the case. I called the owner Erin Bradly who said he would look into the case and to get back to him the following week. I did in fact call him on that following Monday, he was out of the office and would “call me back” which he never did and then that Friday again, and was informed he was there, preparing for a case on Monday and would call me sometime in the future when he is available. I am writing this for YOUR benefit so you can accurately evaluate whether you want representation from this Law Firm. Let these facts speak for themselves. Ralph Waldo Emerson said “You’re Actions Speak so Loudly, I can’t Hear what You’re Saying. Amen to That.

Likes the easy money...not much for truly helping though. Lied to me, hopefully not to YOU!

Erin was hired to do two things for me ( i specifically wanted an attorney to handle both cases for me). He was hired to do my criminal defense and then to sue those who had me jailed for all that they cost me, the defamation...etc etc. He looked me in the eyes told me he could and would do both t...hen promptly took my money. The criminal defense was in hindsight all too easy. DA office declined to pursue charges so he made his money all to easy there. After that was done he decided he did not want to pursue any action on the pursuing to recoup my loses with the company. Though the information was presented right there in a police report and we had video proof. I was told that the percentage of what i lost would be paid to him on a contingent fee for taking that case...and that case simply was not worth pursuing. Thing is he had this information all along and knowingly took my money upfront even though he had no intentions of following through on his word. I was charged a flat fee for the criminal defense case...as i said he made alot of money for what little he had to do on that one. I dont regret having paid what i did. I do however feel that as an attorney he should have been UPFRONT and HONEST about what he was wiling to do with both of my cases. If i had known what he intended to do on the 2nd case i would NEVER HAD HIRED HIM TO BEGIN WITH. He clearly was informed of why i sought his services and that it was for BOTH cases not JUST ONE. Since i did not sign the agreement with him about the second case before he started both, he basically had me by the jewels and i had no leg to stand on. In closing i would just suggest your REALLY CLEAR about what you will have him do. If for any reason he thinks he wont make the maximum money for the least amount of time. HE WILL LEAVE YOU HIGH AND DRY. Thanks Erin... If you cannot trust your attorney then who can you trust? On the positive side though when he handled my criminal defense i felt confident of his abilities while he was working though the matter. On the negative though i think he knew ahead of time how little effort it was to take on his part for the thousands of dollars he charged me.

You were facing serious felony charges which would have destroyed your current career, and could have resulted in serious prison time. When you hired me all I had was your side of the story. I had none of the state's evidence. I worked diligently and on an emergency basis to negotiate your case with the state prosecutor which resulted in the state not pursuing charges against you. Once I reviewed your case for a civil lawsuit against your accusers, I advised you that your case was going to be an uphill battle. I further advised you of the potential value of your case. You were insistent that your case was worth 3-10 times more than I though it was. I repeatedly told you that some of the demands you sought were not supported by law. I suggested you seek a second opinion to confirm my suspicions. You refused. You later sent me an email thanking me, and telling me that"you were sorry, and that I was right." Finally, my fees in your criminal case were on average up to 50% less than other attorney's in town would charge. I'm sorry you feel like you do. I'd be more than happy to sit down with you and discuss your case further, should you think it might help clarify your legal position.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
