This man was very rude , I explained my situation very well. With him being a Attorney, he should know the law . A little better, but he is very rude instead of trying to. As a Attorney he was not professional, he was trying to. Talk down on me , I started. Who can I talk to about someone over seeing... my chips case? My daughter was , talking from the hospital. I had other kids that was removed, I was trying to close out . That case before , I had my daughter. Giving the fact that , the other case . Was not closed , that stand grounds for them . To remove my daughter, she was taking from the hospital. I have did everything that was , asked of me.. The only thing I’m having a hard time with is stable housing. I feel like the social worker, is working more . Against me then with me , now she developed. This bond with this foster home, now I feel . She wanna keep my daughter in this foster home.. That’s why I’m being told , I’m not making progress. They can’t help me with housing, because of my background. Now is the very same thing I wrote. Asking who can I talk to about my situation. This man , was more worried about being rude. Making it seem like , I just got on here lying about my situation. Talking about check my spelling. Even if I did miss spell some words, or didn’t use . Proper grammar, I’m sure he was able to understand. What I was asking , or talking about. I have a learning disability, so if he could not understand me. He could of simply not responded back, or let a different Attorney respond.

I know that I did not pay for the consultation. However, I was asking specific advice, and I was given judgement instead of unbias advice on a consultation level. He was also incorrect in regards to the law that he said that I was mistaken about, even though it is written in the law in black and whit...e what he was judging me about. I do not recommend this lawyer. It is bad when the person seeking advice knows the law more than the lawyer.

My son was subpoenaed today to appear in court as a witness to a criminal case. The defendant is a young man whom he was once friends with. My son has not been in contact with him for quite sometime. His mother and I felt that this young man would only have a negative impact on our son so we cut off ...all contact between them. Obviously, our assumption was correct as this young man is now in jail. My question: "Today a lady yelled through my window saying "you've been served. A copy of your subpoena is on the porch" and left. This was the first attempt anyone has made to subpoena my son and he is to appear in court in two days. I am a stay at home mom so I am in my home all day, every day. He is a minor. He is subpoenaed as a witness in a criminal defense case of a young man that he was once friends with. Can he refuse to answer any questions? Can we go on his behalf? We do not want him missing school for some ridiculous case of some boy whom he is no longer friends with." He was the first to respond to my question and instead of giving legal advice, he was giving his personal opinion about my parenting techniques. He felt that I was making "excuses" for my son. I don't know how he came to this conclusion. He also addressed my concern about missing school as education is our number one priority and he said that this is "more important". I came to this sight to obtain LEGAL ADVICE, not to have someone place judgment on my parenting. His response to all of his negative reviews is "this is not a client of mine". No sir, I am not. I would never pay for your services based on the unprofessional and grammatically incorrect response you gave me. " This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority. Censure issued in WA, 1992 updated on Mar 1, 2011 This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior." I guess, he has not learned his lesson.

Very pleased with Mr. Couture after my initial consultation. He is extremely versed in Pierce County family law matters and I would fully trust him managing my case. I have retained Mr. Couture for representation and have no concerns or doubts in his ability to help me achieve what best for my family... and I. He's honest about potential outcomes and will not offer any promises which is very much appreciated. AF

I contacted Jerome Couture on Monday about a restraining order that I believe was filed on false accusations and complicated by the fact that I have Autism. This lawyer didn't seem to answer my question at all, even though I explained my situation to him as thoroughly as I could, and he blasted me fo...r being in the situation that I'm in in the first. He completely disregarded my Autism even though it played a massive role in the case, and he accused me of being "dangerous" just because I have been looking for a straight answer for the last six years. I do not recommend this lawyer at all as he is judgemental and dodges questions.
