Ron Steingold

I retained Ron Steingold this past year, to represent me in a matter concerning a modification of child support filed by my ex-wife. My divorce was finalized over 10 years ago, but I have a very litigious ex who habitually files numerous motions. I am a certified paralegal, and I have worked for a ...number of attorneys in the past. I had met Ron via a consultation I did with him a number of years ago. I consider him to be very knowledgeable and competent counsel. He stressed to me at the onset of the case the advantages to reaching a negotiated agreement versus litigating the matter in court. However, negotiations with my ex became difficult. The case went to arbitration – which resulted in a decision favorable to me – and then to trial on appeal. Again, the ruling was favorable to me. Ron is a very smart litigator. He thoroughly examined the positive arguments of my case, and prepared me for any potential pitfalls. His working knowledge of statutes, regulations and relevant case law is superb. In the courtroom, his demeanor put me at ease. It is my opinion that keeping a client’s anxiety in check speaks volumes as far as a successful outcome. Ron is very easy to talk to, and his fees are fair. I felt he took a sincere interest in my wellbeing and that of my children. I highly recommend Ron Steingold.

Ron was very knowlegable in dealing with my divorce. There were many twists and turns in a case that should have been cut and dry. No house, kids, etc. but with an angry ex, it turned out to be a year. Ron was very conscientious about not over spending my money and when the other attorney started pla...ying games, he qouted legal jargon and stopped them cold. He was very patient with me, as I am not the best with paperwork and details. In the end, the settlement was fair and better than I had expected.
