I wish I could say he did the same for me that some of the other reviews have noted but it was complete opposite. In our first meeting I felt confident Mr. Ricketts had mine and my child's best interests in mind but very quickly he showed the complete opposite. He did nothing but make my case worse. ...He never filed documents that were supposed to be filed, would never answer my questions or respond to phone calls or emails. In our last court date he had the same exact argument that didn't work the 2 court dates prior and when the judge asked him blatant obvious questions regarding the case he had to turn back to me for answers. He never met with me prior to the hearings to at least tell me what to expect before hand and catch up on what had been happening. In the end he caused me to loose visitation and I had retain a new attorney to fix what he messed up. Would not recommend him to my worst enemy. I filed a complaint with the Bar Association so hopefully that will help by keeping him from messing up his next clients life. LOOK ELSE WHERE YOU WILL BE THANKFUL.

This man is one of the most compassionate and genuine people I have ever met in my entire life. Several years ago I gave up my parental rights to my beautiful daughter, at the time I was very unhealthy and emotionally unstable . It took quite some time for me to recover and become healthy again ...and get my life back on track , but I'd given up my rights . I did not have the right to know where she lived I did not have the right to know how she was doing was absolutely left a huge hole in my heart . What the law could not do for me he did. He was not only able to find out where my daughter was living and how she was doing but he was able to contact her parental guardian . Richard Ricketts spent several hours of his time writing letters and making phone calls on my behalf . During this process this man was genuine , he was compassionate, and I felt as if he really cared for me and wanted to re-connect me with my daughter .I now have open communication with my daughter and receive a video chat once a week! being able to talk to her and know that she is healthy and happy means the world to me.
