Mark is a 10

After consulting with half a dozen attorneys who were only interested in increasing their billable hours I canceled my initial consultation with Mark Blair thinking he was just more of the same. After getting a referral from another attorney who couldn't take my case(s) I rescheduled my appointment a...nd it was the best decision I've made to date. Mark Blair is direct, honest and doesn't sugar coat the potential outcome of a case or the costs associated with representing you. I came to him with an impossible situation, two protection order cases, both neighbors; one a renewal and the other newly filed, with hearings within a week of each other. He had very little time and a very limited budget and so far he has delivered. Mr. Blair is professional, meticulous, and tenacious in the courtroom. He is a fierce advocate for his clients regardless of their circumstances and is well versed in the law. I wish that I had known about Mark and his law firm two years ago when all this started; if I had, I believe I wouldn't be in the situation I am in today. As impressive as Mr. Blair is, his staff of paralegals and interns are equally amazing. I have been extremely fortunate to have three young women working on my case(s) who are compassionate, intelligent, responsive, through and exceptional at their job(s). If you hire Mark, you get his excellent support staff as well, and a law firm that is a "complete package" as far as services are concerned. No matter what happens in the second case, Mr. Blair is the only attorney I will turn to again for legal counsel if I'm ever in need of representation in the future.

A Standout Attorney in a Dysfunctional System

We hired Mark for my son’s misdemeanor criminal case after firing a different attorney who didn’t even attempt to do anything, assuming, like everyone else, that we’d take a plea deal. The Redmond court system felt more like a fast-food drive-thru than a place where justice is served. Disorganized, r...ushed, and with little regard for actually reviewing the facts. Mark was the only one who seemed genuinely professional among all the lawyers and judges we dealt with. He carefully analyzed the evidence, confidently navigated the case, and ultimately got the charges against my son dismissed. Mark is the one you want on your side if you’re stuck in a system that feels broken. We can’t recommend him highly enough.

Frivolous Protection Order

I was served a completely frivolous protection by my attorney neighbor. It was not only frivolous, but ridiculous. If you believed what he said, I am just a total psychopath. Well, I am not. I was also given another ridiculous mutual protection order, which I rejected. Mark Blair made mincemeat o...f the attorney who attacked me! It only took a very few days of work and time in court for one day. I am not used to things going so quickly in court in my experience. He showed how the protection order did not meet the required standards. He dismissed illegally obtained information as irrelevant (so did the judge) and took him to the mat. My favorite words? Judge: We are ruling in favor of [Mr. C]. Yay! Now I am going for reimbursement. I hope it goes well, too. Here is why Mark is so good: Mark was prepared. He KNEW THE LAW. He was calm. (calmer than me). He was eloquent as required. He made it look so easy! Thank you so much, Mark, for helping me!

Excellent Attorney

Mark has assisted with me with two cases. From the beginning of each there were problems he was able to quickly assist resolving. (bailing out of jail and removing an arrest warrent). For each case he was able to layout out my options and he was able obtain the best possible outcome. The first was a... plea to fines, probation and no jail time (was facing 10+ years). The second was dismissed. Marks knowledge of the law and court system was key in getting the results I needed. Mark and his staff kept me updated and had great communication during both cases.

I highly recommend Mark Blair to be your lawyer!

I hired Mark Blair to be my lawyer when I was arrested for a DUI. I looked into a few lawyers and chose Mark because he was very qualified and asked a reasonable fee for his services, one which I could afford. He listened carefully to me, and clearly explained what would be going on pro and con for ...my case. Mark was honest and told me kindly that my case was a hard one and that it might not go well for me. He seemed to know my fears, and constantly assured me that I could trust him to do his best for me. Mark was always available for me whenever I needed to call or text him. The thing I noticed about Mark especially is that he loved his job and cared for his clients. He is gifted in the courtroom and I could tell he enjoyed that part of his job also. Mark is very knowledgeable about criminal offenses, DUI offenses, etc. He is experienced, and knew how to present my case. I felt that he was an expert. He worked hard, studied my case carefully, and arrived in court very prepared. My case turned out well for me, and I know this was because I had such a competent lawyer.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
