I was born and raised in the Tacoma area. After graduating from the University of Washington I attended law school at the Universtity of Puget Sound (Cum Laude). I was an associate editor of the law review. While in law school I began to intern in a criminal defense firm. I enjoyed that work so much, I opened my own practice in 1997. Since that time i have been proudly serving clients in serious injury cases and select criminal matters. I have tried cases in state, federal and military courts and throughout Washington. I have also assisted clients in out of state matters. Over the last 5 years the focus of my practice has been primarily on serious accident and injury cases.

Great job!

It has been a positive experience working with Krupa & Clark. Michael Clark was so wonderful to work with...very quick to respond & attentive. It was nice to work with him & he did a fantastic job for me. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

He literally saved my life

I had a serious felony charge, and now I can go on with my life and not be haunted. I hired Michael Clark in my mind within ministers of meeting him. I knew I would be a person to him and not just a number. I was facing a minimum of seven years in jail for an offense I did not commit. Michael took on my case and went above and beyond for my family and I. I was always able to reach him, he always put my mind at ease. He never stopped fighting for me. I ended up taking a plea, which I was never forced into doing, michael just advised me on what was the best route to go. He did everything in his power to work with the Prosecutor to get my deal down. I went into sentencing not knowing if I would walk out to my children or not. However, Micheal did his magic and I was not taken away. He worked so hard for me and I am so thankful for him. For what I was charged with I had the best possible outcome.

Michael Clark Recommendation

I was charged with assault in the fourth degree. Michael Clark worked efficiently with my time, and gathered necessary evidence for my case which resulted in the case being dropped. Michael Clark is very knowledgable and professional. I was lucky to be referred to him, and I would recommend him highly.

Michael knows his stuff

I had a NEG1 charge that was basically a cop profiling bikers and pushing the limits of a potential search. Michael got into the way the law was written. Something I definitely could not do myself. His understanding and communication of this understanding, resulted in a case dismissed. Glad I found him here and hired him.

Best case scenario

Mike's work on this case resulted in the absolute best result possible. My daughter was charged with DUI but Mike identified the best plan of action and and managed to get the charges dropped completely without a trial. This was better than we could have expected. He kept things simple and easy to understand and was very easy to work with. We could have not asked for any better scenario

Iron grit excellence

Went above and beyond. Forced the prosecution to into a losing battle by eliminating invalid evidence which eventually led to the dropping to a lesser charge. The continued effort of Michael Clark then battled the lesser charger and eliminated all charges against me. Definitely worth every penny to maintain your legal dignity and clean record by investing in Michael Clark. Thanks again for everything you've done for me Mr. Clark.

Quality legal representation

A friend referred me to Mike after I was charged with DUI. While I am an attorney, I don't practice criminal law and knew next to nothing about the DUI process. During our initial consultation, Mike cleared up a lot of confusion and stress I had by explaining the "big picture" as well as the particular steps involved with the separate criminal and administrative processes a DUI charge triggers. After my second meeting with Mike I knew what to expect at each hearing and which options I'd likely have along the way. Mike took the time to answer my questions (and I had a lot!) and he helped me understand the likely consequences for each option I had. Based on Mike's insight and advice I felt I had the information needed to make each of the key decisions I made during my case. All things considered, I am happy with how things turned out and without a doubt Mike had a lot to do with that result.

Professional, knowledgable, and friendly service!

I was very happy with the outcome of both of my cases using Michael Clark as my attorney. I was arrested for once for domestic violence and then again for a DUI (cannabis and alcohol together), violating a no contact order, and possession of cannabis. With Michael's instructions I was able to get the dv charge dismissed, the cannabis charge, and the no contact order violation. I was only charged with negligent driving in the first degree which I plead guilty to after Michael talked to the prosecution to get me a deal. When I would meet with Michael he would be very helpful and knowledgable. My charges were on state and federal land so I am very positive that Michael knows the law very well and I would highly recommend him.

Defense of my son

Mr Clark did a fabulous job defending my son who had been wrongly accused of domestic violence. Police arrived at our home and arrested my son at night. By referral from an attorney acquaintance, we called Mr Clark's answering service. He responded promptly and handled the case in a very professional manner. He was able to have the charges dismissed before it went to trial. I recommend him highly.

Mr. Clark was very professional and helpful. He was able to accommodate my work schedule and was very straight forward and easy to work with. Mr. Clark helped me create a plan to minimize my potential penalties. He communicated with me in a timely manner and was very knowledgeable. Trustworthy and persistent

After realizing i had a some-what complicated case, I was overbearing in question asking. Mr. Clark never failed to be kind with me. In this particular matter, Mr. Clark dealt with a wide spectrum of the judicial system, from the city level up to the DOJ. I was actually with Mr. Clark in a court setting and was impressed with his demeanor. He is honest and knowledgeable. His staff is as well kind and easy to approach. In the end, I feel not only was i well represented with talent and experience, but i gained a trustworthy friend in Michael Clark.
