I made a mistake and got behind the wheel after having a few with some colleagues. I was pulled over for speeding, and was found to be over the legal limit, and quickly found myself in a ton of trouble. I quickly realized what lied ahead was quite scary and daunting... I had the unfortunate experience of being arrested for a DUI. I research and spoke with several lawyers and Aaron was the one that stood out above the rest. He was very knowledgeable and comforting during this horrific ordeal. He kept me informed during the whole process and always took time to expla...in any paperwork that needed to be filed. He was able to get my charges reduces to a reckless driving charge instead of a DUI charge. He successfully won the DOL hearing so that my license would not get suspended after my arrest. Aaron is the first attorney I’ve ever hired but I was very happy with his performance. I was in a tough situation (a BAC refusal) but I don’t think another attorney could have come out with a better outcome. I initially interviewed several of the top attorneys in the area. I really connected... with Aaron. He didn’t just have a lot of technical experience with my case. But he had a lot of genuine compassion for my situation. I wasn’t treated well by the arresting officer. Aaron saw that and it made him really want to fight for me. I didn’t get that level of connection with any of the other attorneys I spoke with. When I first met Aaron he explained the entire process to me—each step in my case along with all of the possible (and probable) outcomes. On each meeting I had with Aaron, he could recite any detail of my case. His testimony at my DOL hearing was beyond impressive. He not only has a seemingly perfect grasp of the law, but he could rapid fire minute details of my arrest report that he weaved into a thoroughly considered defense. I can’t stress enough how impressive this was. It was as if I was his only client and he had spent weeks studying the details (I actually *did* spend weeks studying my case and he still picked out details that I didn’t see). The only thing that I think can be improved is a more thorough explanation of some of the basic steps involved in the process. For example, in my case I lost my license for a year. But I only learned as I went through the process that I would be completely without a license for a few weeks at the start of the suspension (it took time to get the interlock license). Similarly at the end of the suspension there were a couple of weeks where I was again out of a license (it took time to take the appropriate tests to get my license back). I also lost my motorcycle endorsement and will have to start over getting that back. Learning details like this were a shock at the time. It was frustrating to learn these things after the fact—especially since they could have been covered by something as simple as a well written FAQ. Issues like this stung at the time but in the grand scheme of things these were relatively minor concerns. Aaron is a brilliant attorney that I would wholeheartedly recommend to others.

Aaron did an excellent job on my case. He got my DUI reduced to a Negligent Driving 1 (This is very good. Almost as good a a dismissal and those are actually pretty rare). We also won the DOL hearing. I would recommend Aaron 100%. A DUI is very complicated and requires a lot of experience... and very specialized knowledge of the law and the people and agencies involved. Aaron has this knowledge and experience. Aaron has an outstanding reputation. I did a lot of research on DUI attorneys and in interviewing the attorneys, they all wanted to know who else I was talking to. When ever I mentioned Aaron to the other Attorneys, I always got the feeling that they wished I was not comparing them to him. This told me a LOT. Every good professional knows his competition. In a way the other attorneys helped me select him and they were so right. Getting a DUI is terrible, but Aaron made it much, much better. Do yourself a favor and hire Aaron. You won't regret it.
