High Praise for J. Blake Hilty

Blake Hilty is a highly competent and knowledgeable family law attorney in the PNW. His grace, patience, and ability to foresee situations by using his high level of understanding of the law, make him a fine choice for legal representation in any divorce or family law dispute. Responsive, empatheti...c and trustworthy, you will be in the best hands working with Blake Hilty. I would recommend him again and again in any family law scenario. Mr. Hilty knew that my list of goals were to finish in a timely manner (under 6 months), and to receive the best possible settlement. I appreciated his thoughtfulness in planning out scenarios that would help me down the road financially instead of just working with the facts. His creativity and willingness to create a formula that would benefit me and my children in the future was very much appreciated and in the end, he provided me with the best solution and settlement. He's a terrific attorney, a compassionate friend and provides a shoulder if necessary - three traits a good family lawyer must have when dealing with a highly emotional situation. He is top notch in every way.

Blake Hilty is a highly desirable family law attorney

I am very lucky to have found Blake Hilty from McKinley Irvin. He is very professional but what impressed me the most was his ability to quickly recognize the issues and work to find constructive and practical solution to solve them. He worked very hard to get me the desired and reasonable outcome as... permitted under the law without generating unnecessary legal fees. I could trust Blake for his good advice. He keeps up to date with changes in family law and studies the case in depth and most importantly uses the LEGAL LEVERAGE to build the case rather than using false accusations or raising petty issues to win a case. I would recommend him because he is honest, diligent and very sharp in his work. This is what you need to get protection or justice or win a case because Judges are very intelligent and they can decipher easily between the truth and lies. I was very happy with the outcome which was fair and reasonable and also felt that he wanted to save attorney fees for me all the time.

High Conflict Divorce went to Trial

I was involved in a high-conflict divorce over a period of a more than year which culminated in a 4 day trial. As anyone can imagine, divorce is difficult in the best of circumstances, but when things are hostile and combative to the level of my experience, it can be soul-crushing. The time, effort a...nd stress it takes to go to trial is overwhelming at best. I am so thankful I had Blake throughout this process. We didn't always agree, and I lost my cool a few times, but Blake was forever righting the ship and keeping me on track by focusing on the goals and appealing to my reason in lieu of emotion- not an easy thing to do when talking about your children. He is the most detail-orientated professional I've ever met and when you have 1000 moving parts, as my divorce did, this is invaluable. There were moments in trial when I just watched him in awe. He is unassuming in his calculations, but do not be mistaken, he is calculating intelligently. He was fair and consistent and calm under pressure. I would highly recommend Blake to anyone going through divorce.
