I hired Kevin when going through my divorce, because I wanted a lawyer who would put, not only my needs, but more importantly, my kids needs first. His collaborative method of law really is all about doing what is best for both parties & especially their children.
My now ex wife hired a litigator who made our divorce pretty messy, by dragging it on and draining her bank account. He definitely didn't care about me, but to my surprise it was pretty obvious he didn't care about her or our children either.
I just never felt that with Kevin. He was always there putting my needs & my kids needs before everything else. He had good sound advice and reason, when I needed it.
Divorce is hard enough without lawyers, why make it harder by hiring someone who only wants your money and isn't truly putting your needs first. If you are serious about doing what is best for your children and even your soon to be ex, Kevin is the attorney for you.

Divorce and estate division is an emotional and legally complex undertaking even when there is civility. Kevin provided us a personally and professionally sensitive process which, when compared with the experiences others, was transparent, mutually respectful and without undue process (and cost). Sound advice, based on his broad experience, provided us with the ability to make our own decisions which included but were not limited to, thoughtfully "hear" one another, negotiate our differences, mitigate the cost of such and set-the-stage for sound tax decision making. There is little emotional 'win' in the decision to divorce but Kevin did provide us with a win : win insofar as how we navigated through the legal and financial requirements of our decision. We hold Kevin in high regard.

Kevin is very responsive and easy to work with. He considers your time constraints and does his best to accommodate. He has helped me a lot in putting together a prenuptial and gave me many good suggestion while still listening to me and considering our preferences.

Kevin recently served as mediator in one of my cases and was outstanding and instrumental in getting the case settled. He possesses the ability to listen and empathize while also keeping the mediation moving toward resolution. I will use him again for mediation. Thanks, Kevin.

I endorse Kevin Scudder. Kevin is diligent, hard working, and detail-oriented as an attorney. I have had a couple of cases against Kevin, and he has been a strong advocate for his client. I readily endorse him as a family law attorney.
