Dedicated Attorney

Blake oversaw the final stages of my divorce settlement, pertaining to property settlement and child support. The issues were beyond complicated and as with many family law cases, emotions ran high. Blake steered the course with tremendous expertise and a brilliance for retaining truck loads of fac...ts and figures. Due to Blake's tenacity, dedication and leadership of his team, the outcome was more remarkably positive than I could have ever imagined.

Thorough, Thoughtful, and Trustworthy

Blake approaches family law as anyone should, in my opinion. It's about the law, not the overwhelming amount of tactician strategies that other firms employ to intimidate. I'm sure that he can play that game, but as my desire was to wrap things fairly while not giving anything up, that wasn't the roa...d that we traveled. He was a great partner through the entire process, I felt included, always respected, and fully supported in moments of weakness... or ego. I'd hands down recommend Blake to anyone in this less than ideal situation, particularly for anyone who is looking to exit their marriage with dignity and grace.

Exceptional Attorney

I hired J. Blake Hilty under difficult circumstances for myself. I had lost visitation with my children, my saving were removed from joint accounts, demands I divide my business interests, and requests that I forfeit my interest in the family home. During the year long divorce process Mr. Hilty worke...d to restore my rights. I now share custody of my children. My business interests are my sole and separate property. The family home was agreed be divided with equal equity to both parties. The results of my divorce ended better than I could have hoped for. For the commitment, dedication, and personal attention Blake Hilty showed me this is what I can state without reservation: for command of the legal system, understanding of complex business issues, constant efforts to better position a client, positive efforts with the other side, superior negotiating skills, and working with arbitrators. This man’s efforts on my behalf truly: “EXCEPTIONAL”.

Excellent family law attorney. Highly recommended.

I am incredibly thankful that Blake Hilty was my family law attorney for my case. He took the time to get to know me and formulated a plan to help me and my children. He provided sound guidance that helped calm my fears every step of the way. He treats you with compassion and understands the strain t...hat divorce and custody cases has on you. I found that he and his staff at Socius Law Group were always responsive. Blake has a straightforward way of explaining complicated topics that helps you make huge decisions. He can tell if there was something he said that you might not have comprehended fully and won’t proceed until you understand. Blake will give you the range of outcomes before going to court and give you his expectation to help you mentally prepare for the result. I found that Blake was incredibly prepared, made excellent arguments and knew every detail of the case during court hearings. Blake selected the perfect mediator for my case whose style allowed us to come to an agreement that was beneficial to all involved thus avoiding the expensive costs of a trial. I would recommend to anyone looking for a family law attorney to get in touch with Blake Hilty.
