My so called simple parenting plan had turned into an ugly nightmare of a year and a half of litigation. Kathryn is a great lawyer and a nice person too. I enjoyed working with her. She is considerate of the client and the costs that might be incurred to the client by her services so she does not recommend any extra stupid things to do that won't help you reach your final goal. She won my relocation... case for me. She tried to keep me out of trial and warned me it was a toss up if we went to trial. However, once I saw her in action in court I was thouroughly impressed adn she just out lawyered the oppossing counsel. Kathryn B Abele, Esquire. Is probably the most effective attorney that I have had on my ongoing Family Law case that has been going for almost over 2 years now after the divorce. Where do I start? I was a pro se litigant father getting reamed by the system as my ex used the "VAWA make up DV lies a...nd get whatever you want, scam against the court." My case got to a point where there was no way I could have a life and make progress further with it. I spoke with a Father's Rights advocate who recommended Kathryn, I am eternally grateful. Every time I went to court with Kathryn, she was fresh, strong, and had my back. She disarmed every single lie my ex was trying to use against me to slander me further publicly, normally my ex wife would abuse me by saying all sorts of nasty things publicly to me and it would paralyze me. After being so many years with a sociopath who manipulates you this way and others, you get to where you have weaknesses that the ex uses against you, well when I stepped into the court room with Kathryn, different story she totally disarmed my ex's lies and even had my ex dumbfounded to where my ex was at a loss for words on what to say. She got my insane amount of support payments a month lowered to where I can breath again, and losing my license is not going to happen. 3. She got put together very quickly a kick ass parenting plan. 4. She has been 100% on top of every tactic my ex has been doing, in a proactive stance not so much re-active. I know attorneys have their days where they might not win, but my results with Kathryn have been outstanding she gives 100% every time. I know she knows the law really way, if I had to do this as a pro se litigant it would probably have taken me years to get to this point where she has gotten my case. She's truly an attorney that loves and cares about the Father, but all of her clients I can say man or woman she truly cares about. I highly recommend this Attorney, she's a straight shooter, knows the Law and really fights for her clients. If there was a way I could recommend high ethics of an Attorney, I would and will look for a way to do it. This Attorney to me is the type you want to hold on to for the rest of your years of litigation of you have an ex that feels so "entitled" to everything and wants to use legal system abuse against you, I recommend Kathryn she'll go into that courtroom charged, fresh to do battle so to speak but in your good name. And let me say Commissioners and Judges respect her, and she is great at disarming many of the scams used against men in the system. I'm so happy having this attorney, I can relax finally, and I get to see my wonderful children again who I live for. As a Father to other Fathers when you finally get to see your kids again there is no feeling short of being able to build that bond you have with your kids, suddenly meaning and life come back to being a father, suddenly I can teach my kids, read to them, draw, teach them about nature, etc. Without Kathryn on my case that would have been an arrested development and any sense of security from having a Father in their lives would be shattered, while my ex tried to have her felon boyfriend in my place. Anyways, I recommended and re-recommend Kathryn.
