After almost a year and close to 10k in fees this attorney refused to help me because I tried to contact my ex who essentially proposed more than what this attorney got me from the divorce. I would never hire this attorney and I hope others don't go through what she put my family through. She only ca...red about the money. She forgets key points from our communication and fails to inform me of important issues opposing party offered. Bottom line is she was responsible for dragging my divorce on and on...

Kathryn has helped me with a few issues now. She really cares about me and my children. She is passionate, caring and will always tell me the truth and not sugar coat anything. She is not a lawyer who cares about money. She is not concerned about billable hours. She is concerned about her clients and... their families. BY the way, I believe the previous review was posted by my Ex Wife. She does not care for Kathryn because Kathryn flat out out lawyered her lawyer. Kathryn will always be my attorney of choice. I am glad there are people in this world like her! Thank you Kathryn!

Kathryn represented me and most importantly my son for continued child support. It was a very nasty divorce and horribly contested case by my ex. Kathryn is so very knowledgeable about the law and what needs to be done. She is incredibly quick thinking and well prepared in the court room. She kno...ws what she's doing, she communicates effectively with her client and does her very best to keep the bill reasonable. Her office staff is also excellent. And she wins.

Ms. Abele represented me in a legal separation, and was generally pretty unresponsive and overall not very helpful throughout that process. Then when the trial separation date ended, I emailed Ms. Abele to let her know that my spouse and an I were going to continue to work on our relationship through... marriage counseling. So she immediately sent a letter to me and the court stating that she was dropping me as a client. My spouse's attorney basically said, "Oh, OK, good, luck, and call me later if it does not work out." But Ms. Abele did no such thing. Apparently if you hesitate for a second and do not immediately file for divorce, she will divorce you. Beware. Would NEVER recommend her to anyone.
