Risk free claim/help from Greg so why not?
Greg is awesome, professional, detail oriented and prompt response while representing his client at no upfront cost unless you will recover financial support at the end. He works tiredlessly for your case and is patient to explain and walk me through all steps. When you find no way out from immigation standpoint and your case is eligible for I864 support, reach out to Greg and you will never regret.

Top notch attorney!
Greg Mc Lawsen represented me with a I864 claim as I was on benefits for many years without any way out as I am originally from Europe (my diplomas do not count here). Mr Greg Mc Lawsen was amazing, caring, responsive, honest and very smart. He is truly one of a kind! I would recommend this lawyer in a heartbeat, he also think "outside the box". Exceptional person and lawyer, I highly recommend him!

USA fiance K-1 Visa
My Wife is from Peru and we meet down there while I was studying Spanish and working in 2012. When we decided to get married here and go through the K-1 visa process it was to say the least quite overwhelming. We were lucky enough to find Greg right away though through a personal recommendation and he made the entire process easy and seamless. He was always up to date on current form changes and always right on track for turning in all our applications throughout the last year and a half. Furthermore, he was such a pleasure to work with as well as always available (through email) to answer any questions and/or concerns. Lastly, I just want to say that going through this whole process is no walk in the park and having someone like Greg there to guide you through it is a serious game changer, so thank you so much for all your help!!

i864 Affidavit of Support
Married to US citizen and he wanted to break the marriage so we went into separation. During the separation I was jobless and had no income to support myself. I was living in rented apartment where it was difficult for to pay rent and manage other utility bills. USC was liable to pay all those because he had signed i864 support form while sponsoring me as his dependent. Only he was paying rent and power bill which was not sufficient. I had live my life I had other expenses as well. But he denied to take care of her food, medicine, transportation etc. As a victim of domestic violence and harassment from my husband I had to search for help both for divorce and Immigration attorney. I knew i864 form provides some support but how exactly it is applicable I was not sure on it. During my search for i864 support I found Greg McLawsen he was excellent in his response first he understood my case and then he told how I would benefited through i864 being dependent. He was very clear, transparent and very professional in his work. Greg did awesome job during the claim as he made sure he explained to my husband's attorney consequence of failing to pay i864 and made them pay for it. I am really thankful for Greg support in i864 claim. He is very reliable and supportive attorney Thank you. Greg for all your help and support.

**TWO THUMBS UP**!!! Marriage Visa Case
All I can say is "wow!". Greg really is an exceptional immigration attorney. He is extremely patient, knowledgable and genuine. Unlike some attorneys, Greg truly does have good intentions and loves what he does. He is prompt in communicating and is never hesitant to answer questions. You can trust Greg and what he does! If we had to do it all over again, we would not hesitate to hire Greg as our immigration attorney again! Oh and I forgot to mention, he is also a very handsome man ~ !

My experience with Greg Mclawsen
It was a privilege to have had Greg as my lawyer. He was very informative and explained things in a way that a layman like me could understand. He kept to the facts, constantly checking in with me to make sure that i was clear on the process. Greg has a very calm, confident presence with an open manner that is very reassuring in a situation that is cause for high anxiety. I experienced Greg as exceptionally professional, efficient, communicative and caring. I would highly recommend his services.

best attorney
I originally went to Tacoma community house for advise trying to save a few bucks and honestly I regret my decision. I enter the United States with out inspection and I submitted my immigration package with out doing the proper steps and I just found this out when I got a letter from immigration giving me a timeline and requesting more evidence , I decided I had to contact a attorney , I looked online and I found Greg with great reviews so I gave him a call I spoke to him directly on the phone about my case and he gave me an appointment immediately, I went in for my consultation and he was so nice and friendly and he advise me on what to do in my case, he did the paperwork for me with in a few days and now we're just waiting for a response, Greg was seriously amazing and so helpful. He works with you and your needs. I would seriously recommend him to anyone who needs advise or help with immigration . He is a professional and all of his staff , all I have to say is that I wish I would of contacted him since the beginning it would of saved me a lot of trouble. I'm very thankful for all Greg and the law firm did for me.

Highly Competent and Compassionate Attorney
We are so thankful for all the help we received from Greg McLawsen. He is so kind, and assisted us out of the goodness of his heart, agreeing to represent us pro bono because we could not afford an immigration attorney. We were pretty much about to give up after I was turned away from the US border multiple times starting in early November 2013, and ending in late December when I finally got across. I was told I could not go and visit my husband (who I had been married to for over a year and a half) with an I-130 pending as I was an “intending immigrant” by their definition. He was an active duty military veteran, and I had just graduated from Naturopathic medical school. I was not yet working, and they said to be allowed across I had to show proof of working for at least a year to show I still had ties to Canada, and did not intend to stay in the US. I was unable to show them this, as I had been attending full time medical school for the past four years. The more times we tried to get me across, the meaner the border officers got, and at one point they even threatened to throw away thousands of dollars of my medical equipment that I had accidently left in my husband’s car. At this point we had had enough, and were wondering what we could possibly do on our limited budget. My husband compiled a huge list of immigration attorney’s in the state of Washington, and started calling them all to see if there was any advice or help that they could offer free of charge or low cost. We had no luck until we came across Greg McLawsen. We explained our situation, and luckily he agreed to help us. Right before Christmas, Greg came to meet us at the Peace Arch border crossing in Canada. He had prepared a document to accompany us, so that we could apply for Port of Entry Parole based on humanitarian reasons, and because my husband was active duty military. The border guards at secondary inspection refused to even speak to Greg, said I had no right to representation, and then sent him away. They refused to even look at the document he had so meticulously prepared. A few days later, my husband called to tell me we would be on Komo 4 news in a couple hours, and that they’d have me on via skype. On this news broadcast, Greg appeared and brought to light the often grim reality of the immigration system. The point he brought home is that I had been treated more harshly by immigration than I would have been if I had just “hopped the fence” and gotten into the US illegally. This highlighted the unfairness of a memorandum enacted by the Obama administration last November, which allowed military spouses who were illegally in the US to stay. I was informed on this same news broadcast that, thanks to Greg involving the media, that immigration had relented, and I would be granted Port of Entry Parole for a year. This year would allow me enough time to adjust my status legally, and obtain a Green card so I could begin working as a Naturopathic Doctor in the US. Though the process of obtaining work authorization is not yet complete, I have confidence that with Greg's expertise it soon will be. Just to finally be able to live with my husband after 11 months apart (9 months of him in Afghanistan earlier that year and the previous year, and two months of me not being allowed in the US) was the greatest Christmas gift I could have gotten, and would not have been possible without Greg’s efforts. I highly recommend Greg McLawsen, as he holds all the qualities of a great lawyer, plus he has a big heart which aren't what you’d expect from the average lawyer. Greg isn’t average though, he is extraordinary, and will get the job done even if it means thinking outside the box, and doing what has never been done. He doesn’t give up, and pursues a case, with tenacity, to completion, no matter how daunting it may seem.

He and his staff are hard working honest and got me through the process in a little over 2 months . They were very informative and reassuring on how the process worked and where my eligibility stood. Guidance through immigration laws
After living in the U.S. for many years, I decided to apply for citizenship. I studied the application forms and decided that I would need help. Greg was refered by theTacoma-Pierce County Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service. I have found Greg to be very knowledgable in all aspects of immigration law and he has been extremely helpful in guiding me through the maze of paperwork and backup information required. My daughter is also applying for citizenship, and - although she lives in another state - I asked Greg to take her on as a client.

my mistake by using rating on this website finding attorney
This attorney's first impression was really good. He was really good talker and make you feel like you are in good hand, but I was wrong. I paid him all the fee when he requested, but He didn't follow up or checked on my family's case for over 4 months. Then his excuse was he is really busy with book that he was writing and also busy with organizing some attorney group. I'm was paying clients and that is not my problems, and he should been handing our case. after a month of listening his excuse, I fired him and now I have really good knowledgeable attorney, and it only took this new attorney 2 weeks to review and fixed all this attorney's mistakes and we were able to filed everything. I got my fees back but this nightmare cost us about total of 6 months of delayed.

"Greg has done an excellent job building Washington State's first web-based immigration law firm. In our local immigration attorney community, Greg is the go-to resource for technology advice and related resources. He has made a point of offering free continuing legal education online trainings, and is also the local expert on enforcement litigation. Greg was also instrumental in creating airportlawyer.org. I highly recommend his legal services and admire his technical expertise."

"When I started my law practice, Greg’s was one of a small handful of law firms whose approach I knew I wanted to model mine after. Whether taking questions live on social media, or organizing a virtual network of talent, Greg is always looking for new ways to reach and serve his clients. I endorse Greg because he is innovative, forward-thinking, and client-centered."

"Do you want an attorney in a boring gray suit, sitting in a stereotypical office? Or do you want an attorney-ninja with mad nunchuck skills? My guess is that you want the attorney with mad nunchuck skills because you KNOW that any attorney with the dedication and discipline to develop these skills would bring that same ninja-like focus to helping his clients. Greg gets things done and I'm happy to refer clients to him and his law firm because I know that anyone he employs will also have attorney-ninja skills. Don't hire a typical attorney. Hire a ninja. (and he uses technology to make everyone's lives easier too)"

"I met Greg initially through the "Future of the Law" committee on which we both serve for the Washington State Bar Association. I admire Greg because he's a "doer" not necessarily a "talker" unlike many on the committee (including, sometimes, me). Greg actions in his practice, for the Solo and Small Firm Division of the Bar, on the Future of Law Committee and in a number of other areas demonstrate that he is clearly committed to serving his clients and the greater Puget Sound legal community. Greg is top notch."
