The best at what he does

I hired Greg for my case. I have nothing but the best to say about him; he is kind, understanding, and the best at what he does. I would recommend him to anyone who asks me about him.

Avoid this clown at all costs.

Avoid this clown at all costs . This clown is incomprehensibly incompetent, clownish , runs a poorly managed network of wannabe clowns , ( think circus !! ). Someone ought to tell the justice department that this clown is ruining the circus for everyone else . But don't just take my word f...or it, see for yourself.

DISBAR IMMEDIATELY for using Felons to try to Sponsor immigrants into America

Greg McLawsen is a fraud !!!! Someone who abuses his power by lying to and belittling poor immigrants. Giving false claims and dragging out cases for YEARS. only to continue to charge for "immigration case service" To the point where he's currently trying to get a felon of the United States of ...America to sponsor one of his immigration clients. Greg McLawsen's abuse of legal power and hopelessness of peoples mental state due to their criminal background and immigration issues. Is a Disgrace to America and its Borders. And should be disbarred from any kind of law practice. How dare you attempt to make a felon, sponsor an immigrant for your personal financial gain.!!!!?

Failed to investigate False Claims that cost me my lawsuit

It took months to get in touch with Greg. That should have been my first red flag to go elsewhere. Greg is a very passive attorney. He doesn't fight diligently or aggressively. The opposing party made a circus of the lawsuit, submitting wild accusations and false evidence. We live in the age of techn...ology where anyone can literally fabricate a FB account, make FB posts and send text messages disguised as someone else. The opposing party submitted a lot of claims that were irrelevant to the case at hand but used it as fuel to set the tone for a false narrative of character more than anything else. Greg never argued these claims. He never even petitioned to the judge that if such claims would be submitted, that witnesses should be called to testify their authenticity and their claims. Greg lost to an attorney who didn't even know how to file paperwork for a federal case, that should tell you how passive he is. He cost me financially a lot of money, that I can never re-cooperate now. The only I can hope for is for karma to come his way for his actions, and it always does.

Risk free claim/help from Greg so why not?

Greg is awesome, professional, detail oriented and prompt response while representing his client at no upfront cost unless you will recover financial support at the end. He works tiredlessly for your case and is patient to explain and walk me through all steps. When you find no way out from immigatio...n standpoint and your case is eligible for I864 support, reach out to Greg and you will never regret.

"Greg has done an excellent job building Washington State's first web-based immigration law firm. In our local immigration attorney community, Greg is the go-to resource for technology advice and related resources. He has made a point of offering free continuing legal education online trainings, and is also the local expert on enforcement litigation. Greg was also instrumental in creating airportlawyer.org. I highly recommend his legal services and admire his technical expertise."

"When I started my law practice, Greg’s was one of a small handful of law firms whose approach I knew I wanted to model mine after. Whether taking questions live on social media, or organizing a virtual network of talent, Greg is always looking for new ways to reach and serve his clients. I endorse Greg because he is innovative, forward-thinking, and client-centered."

"Do you want an attorney in a boring gray suit, sitting in a stereotypical office? Or do you want an attorney-ninja with mad nunchuck skills? My guess is that you want the attorney with mad nunchuck skills because you KNOW that any attorney with the dedication and discipline to develop these skills would bring that same ninja-like focus to helping his clients. Greg gets things done and I'm happy to refer clients to him and his law firm because I know that anyone he employs will also have attorney-ninja skills. Don't hire a typical attorney. Hire a ninja. (and he uses technology to make everyone's lives easier too)"

"I met Greg initially through the "Future of the Law" committee on which we both serve for the Washington State Bar Association. I admire Greg because he's a "doer" not necessarily a "talker" unlike many on the committee (including, sometimes, me). Greg actions in his practice, for the Solo and Small Firm Division of the Bar, on the Future of Law Committee and in a number of other areas demonstrate that he is clearly committed to serving his clients and the greater Puget Sound legal community. Greg is top notch."

"Greg is a go getter that cares about the well-being of his clients. His passion to serve clients and gather a deeper understanding about immigration reform is exemplified through the numerous articles he has published on several different immigration topics. In addition, he is sharp, organized, on-time and on the cutting edge of technology. His understanding of technology, how to use it, and how it can benefit his law practice and clients produces convenience and ultimately lower costs for his clients. I give Greg a “thumbs up” and would recommend him to anyone facing immigration issues."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
