Knowledgeable, punctual and compassionate attorney

Ms. Willner is a very knowledgeable, punctual and compassionate attorney. She is generous with her time and provides accurate, "straight to the point" advice. Being an attorney with my own staff, I have contacted Attorney Willner on numerous occasions with employment-related inquires and she has alwa...ys provided me with timely and professional advice or a solution to the situation. Every time I receive a timely answer from Jennifer, I am reminded of the law school principle of not letting the sun go down with an unanswered e-mail of phone call. I would highly recommend Mr. Willner for any employment-related inquiries or issues you may encounter. Lana Elliott Elliott Law Group, Spokane, WA.

A Great Lawyer, Adviser and Mentor

Jennifer Willner is an excellent employment lawyer. She advised me well on my non-competition agreement over the last two years as I navigated major career changes. She is a great legal technician and very knowledgeable about the law and its details. I never once had a moment of doubt in her knowledg...e and legal guidance, and in general I'm always on guard to identify these weaknesses in people. But just as important, she is also strong with the big picture and has acted as an excellent adviser and mentor to me to achieve successful outcomes without going to court. She is a pleasure to work with, and I anticipate working with her for many years to come. I give her my strongest recommendation.

Professional, helpful and honest

Jennifer has been our go-to for any tricky employment law questions or issues. She is professional, knowledgeable and responsive. Her friendly approach is appreciated and her proactive demeanor just what our company needed. I would highly recommend her for your legal questions, needs or just to chat ...(which I also enjoy about her)!

HR Help at the Critical Time

During my Presidency of the Building Industry Association of Whatcom County (BIAWC), some very serious personnel issues developed as a result of some very bad HR practices involving the office staff. Several incidents could have resulted in serious damage to the reputation of the BIAWC, to say nothi...ng of the potential financial impact. Jennifer's guidance and advice enabled us to avoid the pitfalls and resolve the issues with the minimum of damage to the association. She was always available to me for advice and consultation, including occasional times after hours and on weekends. I am most grateful for her help and would recommend her highly to anyone.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
